My experience with this Doctor and Front Desk Office Staff was less than favorable and professional. I contacted this office based on the positive reviews online when conducting my research. I was experiencing some unexplained back issues and made an appointment as a new patient. The front desk receptionist scheduled my appointment for 9:30am in the morning. She mentioned they open at this time, so I would be filing out paperwork for the first few minutes of my scheduled time, which I was fine with. At 9:40am I had completed the required paperwork and supplied my ID and Insurance Card. I was asked to be seated and would be called in a few minutes. Several other patients walked in, sat for a few minutes, and then were called to proceed to patient rooms. I sat there patiently hoping to be the next selected. However, no such luck. After about 30 minutes of waiting and watching others come in and out, I was finally called by a nurse. I proceeded to an exam room where i was asked a a series of questions, asked to change in patient clothing and wait for the Doctor. After about another 30 minutes of waiting for him, I went to the front desk and asked how long he would be. At this point I had waited over an hour and yet had not been seen by the Doctor. I waited a few minutes and decided to get dressed and leave. I felt this Doctor and Staff did not respect my time or me. I was there on time, clearly he did not feel he needed to honor his appointments. I am sure he would not have appreciated if I showed up over an hour later and disrupt his day. When he finally came into the room, I mentioned I had been waiting for over an hour and my appointment was 9:30am. His response, was that my appointment was not at 9:30am because they don’t see patients this early. Really? So, I just showed up because i was bored? This was offensive and unprofessional on his part. A simple apology or explanation would have been appreciated. Clearly, either his front desk is incompetent or there is a lack of communication when they are scheduling appointments first thing in the morning for new patients, if the policy is not to do so. I made the decision to leave the office and not be treated by this Doctor.
