Ed Francisco DDS

I have gone to Dr. Francisco twice. He is a friendly guy and his staff is friendly. Although I have received cleanings — I have never made an appointment for further treatment such as fillings. I noticed that he wanted me to get sealants on my teeth which would add to the costs that insurance doesn’t cover.
My husband on the otherhand had a different experience. He returned for further treatment to get his first crown of three (which were recommended by Dr. Francisco). My husband asked if his insurance would cover this. The dentist reply was that,“he doesn’t diagnos for insurance.” The staff said they would help him with insurance coverage. One month later, he received a bill for $ 800 with no insurance coverage. After speaking with the insurance company, they said that he didn’t need a crown just a filling. Of course the dentist office could offer no response except to pay them.
Just makes me think who his really paying Dr. Francisco’s bills (I know — that would be the crown manufacturers).
