I would not recommend Elegant Events by J&S. Furthermore any company that can’t take constructive criticism and deletes comments to make themselves look good is sad. What was promised was not given.
Case and point: Her salad was lettuce. Not Romaine for a Ceasar Salad, just plain lettuce. The chicken from the «catering vendor» was dry and tasteless in basically water. Furthermore, such «elegance» came without knives to cut the chicken… The vegies were as crunchy as chips… undercooked. The rice the same. I think the people in hell had more ice than we did for the lemonade. And the cake was a special from a kid’s toy oven… There was nothing elegant about my parents 50^th Wedding Anniversary. Family and Friends came from near and far and were disappointed. We were embarrassed!!! The free upgrade of whatever they were, were something retro from Family Dollar that she used as a centerpiece! After spending $ 4000, my siblings and I could have opened a window and just thrown the money out the window. If you truly want a well planned event. Call me, along with my fellow Veteran who is a professional photographer who made the event worthwhile: Flashefxphotography and DJ Spacehip who was spinning the beats and took our minds off of this tragic fiasco… Thanks to the both for their professional recovery for this event!
