I scheduled a group appointment for my bridal party the day before my wedding. After several back and forth communications with the owner, we set a time, date, and she asked for a deposit(so that she could ensure she had enough staff on hand for the group). On the specified time and date, we arrived at the spa to be told that they didn’t have any group appointments that day and rather there was one scheduled for the following week. The owner was not present upon our arrival and the two nail techs did what they could to accommodate us. When the owner(with whom the appointment was scheduled and confirmed) finally arrived, there as no apology or sense of urgency to correct the mistake. She did offer us champagne, but ignored her oversight in scheduling. We had 6 girls originally planning to attend, but after finding out they weren’t prepared for us, only 4 ended up having their nails done. It took the two nail techs 4 hours to do our nails and we ended up having to cancel the bridal lunch we were planning to attend. Further, the nail techs were not great. My toe nails were sloppily painted and the pedicure lacked many essential components of a pedicure. She simply cut and filed my nails and threw on some paint. My nails had thin paint and missing areas. There was no time to fix the issues and I’m not convinced the techs would have been able to do a better job anyway. This place has great potential, but is poorly run. I was very disappointed in my experience and will never return. I would absolutely NOT recommend this salon.

I’ve been driving by this place on my way home from work for a while now and have been intrigued. I called them the other day and it was very easy to snag an appointment for a haircut and style. I feared that parking would be a problem since they are located by the über-popular The Refinery(I still need to check that place out!), but had no problem at all parking behind their building. When I stepped inside, it was really nice, relaxing décor and ambience. I was told that Ashley would be cutting my hair. Both the receptionist and Ashley were warm and friendly. Ashley took the time to learn what cut I wanted and my style. I am somehow missing that girl gene set to do hair, so the less I have to do to make it look good, the better. She explained she would cut it so if I wanted to just air dry my wavy hair and go or blow it dry, it would lay right and be effortless. Sold! She used very nice Pureology products to wash and condition my hair. She was very nice to talk to, very personable and awesome. The cut was one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. It definitely made my fine-ish, wavy hair look a million times better and she taught me some easy styling tricks that I really appreciated. I’ve got a cute, kinda vintagey cut that is pretty sweet! I wasn’t pressed for time but it seemed to be a reasonable amount of time to get my hair did. The cut was $ 35, which is pretty reasonable for such a great cut, great customer services and products she used. I immediately booked another appointment with her. The salon is also very involved with the Seminole Heights community, doing shopping events for the holiday season and things like that. I am very impressed and will be a repeat customer!

Local, woman-owned, great service and close to home. This place truly pampers with complimentary wine and friendly, talented staff. I love that it is close to home and in a historic bungalow too! It is my official pamper spot!

I was in Tampa traveling to take my Medical Board Examination, and opted to stay in Seminole Heights rather than a chain hotel downtown. After 2 grueling days of exams, I could think of no better way to unwind than with an evening of pampering. Whenever I travel, I like to support the local businesses as much a possible. Imagine my delight when I found this salon/day spa just minutes from the house I was staying in! First off, they were extremely kind and understanding about my scheduling, realizing that after my final testing day I would not be able to get to the salon until 5:30, they rearranged their schedules and asked the employes to stay late in order to accommodate me, which is monumental in terms of customer service, in my book. I was greeted with a glass of wine, and went straight into my facial with Elizabeth. I live in NYC, and have had my share of facials, and I would rank this as one of the best experiences. Her massage techniques were phenomenal and assured. There was no «down time» when other places plop a mask on your face and then disappear for half an hour. She was in the room with me the entire time and combined facial strokes with a relaxing shoulder, neck, and decollette massage, topped off by a scalp massage. I left there with my skin feeling as soft as a baby’s butt!!! And then I went in for my 1 hour hot stone massage with Anthony. Anthony, Anthony, Anthony… he was not only very professional and reassuring with proper towel placement and respect of my modesty, but he has the strongest hands ever!!! He is very skilled in his practice, and provided some techniques that I had not experienced before. We ended up talking almost the entire time, and was very impressed by his commitment to his craft and the many years of training he’s gone through. I left there feeling like human«pudding».(Incidentally, I have ZERO problems with a male massage therapist, but if you have any issues, you should mention it when booking up front). I’ll tell you though, you should not miss this chance to have your muscles worked on by an expert. Finally, I went for my manicure with April. Again, we ended up talking and laughing almost the entire time I was there. I have to say, looking at my nails now, this is probably the best manicure I’ve ever gotten. No uneven lines, the polish is impeccably shiny and streak-free, and the foot/calf massage was truly the icing on the cake! Not to mention, you’ll get a good story out of her and you’ll leave laughing. I am SO happy that I decided to do this evening of pampering after 2 miserable days in front of a cubicle in a freezing air-conditioned testing center!!! Support your local business owners, and give this place a try. If, for some unfortunate reason, I failed my exam and have to go back to Tampa, my first phone call will be to book my airline ticket, and my second phone call will be to this salon to book my appointment! Thank you Elizabeth, Anthony, and April for a great end to my not-so-relaxing trip to Tampa. Best of luck, and I hope to see you again someday!

It’s a nice local place. However there are only two chairs in the waiting area and that means you maybe standing around awhile due to the lack of seating. Most of the staff was great and fun to talk with but whomever the lady at the front desk, she has about as much personality as a wall. They pride themselves on having wine and refreshments but they charge you for those. Maybe I am use to going to places in South Tampa where they pamper you with anything from French Roast Coffee, wine, to sparking water. For mans haircut it was a nice change going from $ 60 to $ 25 so I can’t complain about that.

I can’t even really give 1 star on this. I went in and requested a red ombré, showed a photo, and the girl proceeded to do my hair. Well it wasn’t the color I wanted, the color ran ruining 2 shirts — and 4 days later all the color had washed out of my hair. I called and explained the situation and made another appointment with a «master» stylist. I get there and first the woman tries to convince me that the color looks great(even thought it’s nothing like what I wanted), then when I wasn’t convinced, starts mixing color and then decides out of the blue that it will cost her too much to fix my hair and refuses to fix it. So now I have hair that no one else will touch because they don’t know what process this salon used, and I am forced to chop off my locks. Don’t waste your time going here — no one apparently knows what they are doing — and more important they have HORRIBLE customer service

I had been contemplating cutting off my long hair to a shorter cut for months but have had a hard time finding a decent salon. I decided to book an appointment at Forever Beautiful since it happens to be super close to where I live. So glad I did. The receptionist was incredibly nice and was able to get me an appointment immediately. I was assigned to Claire for my haircut and she was very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to what I wanted and she totally followed through. I’ve had many compliments on my cut and of course I love it as well. I will definitely be coming back!

I have been coming here and getting hair done for about 8 months. I am very pleased, my hair looks beautiful and I get to enjoy a glass of wine or two while I wait. Elizabeth knows her stuff. I am very happy with my new salon.

I am consistently disappointed with this spa. I continue to come back here because I love Seminole Heights and I want to support our local businesses. Today, I had a bikini wax and pedicure scheduled at 10am. I called on Wednesday to have it scheduled. I walked in to find the staff setting up the spa and everyone looking at me like I wasn’t expected. Then, the woman who I assume is the owner, told me they couldn’t get ahold of the«bikini waxer». I wouldn’t be so irritated, but they had just called me yesterday to remind me of my appointment. She then told me she could«attempt to do it». No, I do not want you to attempt to do my bikini wax. When I declined, she said she just hadn’t done one in a long time. From facials to pedicures, this place has always disappointed. This will be the last time I try to support this business. I would like to say, the staff, although there seems to be an incredibly high turnover rate, is always the nicest.

I’ve been going here every month for my haircut(and beer) since June. Great stylist and friendly staff. It took me over seven months to find a place I was happy with since relocating here from California. Well worth it and after you’re done you can stop next door at The Refinery.
