I’ve heard that big things come in small packages, and while that may be true, parking should never be an issue. Driving by and stuck in traffic I realized I had never been inside this Gamestop. Parking can be a bit of a challenge since this mini-strip is on a very busy intersection, has a couple business that share the same parking lot, has vehicles entering from multiple directions, and has a bizarre tree-median thing right in the middle. Oh, and for all that trouble, you get about 8 parking spots. The store itself is one of the smallest one’s I’ve been in, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have inventory. This place is jam-packed with stuff. They have traffic patterns laid out on the floor which allows them to cram tons of merch in every possible cranny, even high above on the walls behind the cash registers(Yes, yes, i asked how much the Pokemon robe was, and yes, I will probably go back and get it). Kudos to the staff. The young lady who assisted me(name escapes me sadly), was friendly, knowledgeable, and we had a nice chat about the latest Final Fantasy I downloaded, as well as various other old-school platformers such as the original Zelda. All in all, one of the best Gamestops I’ve ever been in, but I have to ask myself, where dd the 3 employees working park?

I consider myself a huge video game nerd, and have probably shopped at every video game store you can think of. Gamestop has been my go to store for the last few years, and this store is probably one of the best in the Bay area. The staff in this store is really what makes the experience great. They always go out of their way to make sure I am getting the maximum amount on trade ins, and are always dropping neat little tidbits about upcoming games that I hadn’t heard. I’ve never once left this store feeling like I was ripped off or sold something I didn’t want. The store selection is great and there has never been anything I needed that they didn’t have. If you have a choice of Gamestops to go to, I highly recommend this one.
