Hess Express

This is the only gas station I go to! Gas prices are always competitive and their pricing in the store is pretty reasonable.

I stop at this gas station because it is in between my house and my work. I have gotten gas here a couple times because of convenience, but I know that I wouldn’t stop here willingly, and I try to avoid it if I can.
The gas comes out of the pump extremely slow and it took me more than 5 minutes to pump only 10 gallons of gas. I couldn’t pay at the pump because it kept saying it was already in use, and once I got inside, they told me that the gas had to go on my card as credit and I couldn’t use debit — strange.
Inside of this Hess there is also a Godfather’s Pizza/​Quiznos counter as well as a Dunkin Donuts counter with donuts and coffee. The coffee is usually pretty typical gas station coffee, which was kind of sad that Dunkin Donuts put their name on it. Honestly, it’s nothing special. I haven’t tried the Godfathers/​Quiznos counter as it didn’t seem super appealing to me.
The one thing that I do return for is the convenience, and the nice staff. I usually end up picking up beer on my way home from work, and enjoy seeing the same people there on and off. Generally it’s pretty clean with a small selection of snacks and drinks.
