I don’t know if it’s everyday or end of the year but there were very good discounts on nearly everything in the store. From 25−75%. A great selection of clothing, shoes and bags. There are also plenty of housewares and luggage to choose from. The store was clean and well stocked and there was plenty of personnel to help you. The only complaint I have was that some items were still boxed in the manufacturers box and you couldn’t tell what it was and there was no signage. In some cases they had opened one box so you could see the item but that wasn’t always the case. Even with that flaw however I think this is a spot well worth stopping if you’ve got some time to kill on a rainy vacation day. Wish we had one locally!

I am more inclined to shop for items in person so that I can see, feel, touch and try on as needed to make sure I know just what I am getting for my hard earned bucks. Visiting for the first time just before the holidays may not have been the best time to truly judge the inventory because there seemed to be items there were significantly depleted and sizes that had dwindled down in numbers. There is a wide range of merchandise from personal hygiene items and colognes to purses and shoes to bedding and cookware. Those along with candles, luggage, undergarments and pillow make for an eclectic mix of stuff. The jewelry counter seemed to draw a constant crowd and shoppers had to wait for their number to be called(much like a bakery) before they could get service, have their selected items pulled from the locked display case and presented for their inspection. I recognized a few brand names but most manufacturers were unfamiliar to me. Perhaps if I was a fan of the on-air version of HSN I would have been more in the know. I would caution anyone to really check out anything of interest before heading to the check out line. For instance, I found a queen size bedspread that seemed to be an acceptable quality and price. But once I reviewed the packaging I realized that there were no matching pillow cases. A definite deal breaker for me but maybe not for others. This seems to be an interesting addition to my usual shopping stops and I look forward to returning after the holidays and keeping an eye on what will be stocked on the shelves and hung from the racks next.

if you’re a fan of the TV program, then you’ll love the outlet. Much of what you see ends up on the outlet floor. When people return items they come back here, and you get them for a great price.

HSN outlet is where certain HSN items are sent when they don’t sell quite as well. You can get discounts off the original asking price based on how long the item has been on the shelf. Something like 25% for less than 6 months, 40% up to 9 months and 70% after that. They have quite a bit of clothing(womens only I think — didn’t look closely), unique jewelry and handbags as well as glasses, pots and pans and small appliances in the back. I didn’t really find much that I was interested in although my wife picked up a few items and I can see the potential for good discounts if you are interested in the merchandise.

If you have the time, this might be a good place to find an unexpected deal. While the service is friendly I prefer to shop alone. The styles of clothing here border on hardcore matron, but there are also appliances, beauty products and handbags to rummage through, and the facilities are well organized for an Outlet. While a great spot to find your dream accessory, I’m not ready to assemble an entire outfit here for say, another ten years at least. Chico’s lovers would be quite happy here.
