I’ve been going here for 20+ years. Dr Iezzi and the nurses here are reliable, friendly and always make me feel comfortable. The best part is I never worry about being overcharged or having to wait a long time for my appointment. I’ve been recommending the family medical centers of Tampa bay to friends and family over the past few years and many have switched once trying them. I would recommend them to anyone I know.

Confirm your appt clearly before showing up. I was informed with a voice mail that I was good and drove 1 hour only to find out that they made a mistake and sent me on my way. I switched to a new Primary Care the next day!

Love Dr. Iezzi and my husband and I feel like we get the best and most personalized care. We both had bad experiences with Amy but liked the other nurse practitioner, Eddie, before he left.
Office staff always pleasant when in the office but getting help over the phone has been trying at times.

Dr Iezzi is good… if you can ever get to see him. If you go, you will usually see a nurse practitioner. One is good, Amy… the other’s have alot to be desired. I had to change primary care doctors because of a lot of miscommunication, unnecessary tests I was sent for. I was referred to a cardiologist and brought my sonograms results with me and blood test results. I don’t have high BP, choles or diabetes. My carotids were clear and so was my heart… the cardiologist told me that by sending a healthy patient to him that I wasted his time and mine. When I left, I heard him on the phone yelling at someone in Iezzi’s office to NOT send anyone to him that is healthy and has no issues.
The office staff is simply awful. You can’t get a phone call returned, they make appointments and give you an appointment card, but never enter it into the computer. This happened to me on 3 occasions and my husband on 4… this is inexcusable. I’m thinking that they are not paid much because the turn over is so high, you never see the same people when you go and everyone is clueless.
If you can definitely GET Dr Iezzi to see you, and can deal with incompetent office staff and rude Nurse Practitioner, I guess you’d be ok with this practice.
Oh one more thing… don’t question anything… or they dismiss you as a patient!!!
