Jefferson Westshore

Lived at the Jefferson Westshore for 1 ½ years. Overall my experience was good and I have no complaints. It is a very nice apartment complex located in South Tampa near MacDill AFB. I chose to move here because of how close it is to the base. I didn’t want to deal with traffic.
The rent is a tad bit expensive but the first year I lived there, I caught a move in special which was great and helped. I asked to live on the third floor so I didn’t have to hear anyone above which worked out lovely except when it was time to carry things upstairs. I lived in a quiet area of the complex also… never had any issues with my neighbors, etc. You can hear your neighbors from time to time but it’s an apartment complex so I expected that.
The only issue I had was an electrical problem. One of the outlets didn’t work. It was looked at several times, with it working for a short period after a maintenance person would *fixed it* but it would always end not working. I gave up on it. When I turned in my notice I let the front desk know they might want to look at it again before someone moves in.
The complex accommodates military members. No application fee or deposit. I had to break my lease due to orders and it wasn’t an issue.
The staff has had turnover a few times since I’ve lived there but I’ve yet to live in an apartment complex and not see that. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.

So let me first say, the fact I’ve established a Unilocal account should reflect my frustration… apparently this complex leans or accommodates their staff moreso the occupants here.
Be prepared to pay for «looks”///meaning that this complex shows well, however who closes the amenities at 8 pm? senior Citizens got a later curfew than that!!! Oh, you’re thinking about booking the clubhouse for a party??? Well, forget that too, because the clubhouse closes at 6 pm when the staff leaves!
You see, Jefferson Westshore must ensure the property is kept pristine and intact so everything is off limits to the tenants regardless of the high ass rent you pay!
Oh, and lastly — -DO NOT PLACE A SODA CAN on top of your trash bag during valet trash services… you’ll have a nice 25.00 citation waiting for you!
I wouldn’t refer a convict to the place… they operate like true car salesmen!
