What a disappointment! The Krystal in my are closed a few years ago so was excited when we found this one near where we were spending the weekend in Tampa. I wish I wouldn’t have noticed it and saved myself the $ 30 I wasted there! First of all, the worst staff I have ever seen in any customer service situation. Cashier didn’t welcome me or ask to take my order she just looked at me and waited for me to start talking. I don’t believe she actually said a word to me the entire transaction, just punched my order in, waited for me to swipe my debt card (even left me to look at the total myself) then handed me my receipt. Then, when I could see that it was going to be a few minutes, goodness knows the employees here aren’t going to TELL you that, I went back to the counter to buy a soda and was totally ignored… for 8 minutes! A manager even looked me dead in the face 3 times and didn’t say a word. We ordered a steamer pack, half with cheese and the other half with bacon and cheese. They were not cooked all the way and the buns were stone cold and hard. They were busy and could care less about quality, just wanted to push orders out. We couldn’t eat any of our burgers until we returned to the hotel later and could nuke them. Still threw half the bag away. Should have went back and gotten my money back but after the customer service we got on the initial visit I wasn’t going to put myself threw it! I wouldn’t go back to this location if they were offering me free food! My advice to the owner of this location would be to fire everyone in the place and start over!

Visited 5÷1÷2016. They advertised $.59 Krystal burgers, $.79 Krystal with cheese and $.99 Krystal chicken between 2 and 5PM. At 4:20PM, I attempted to order several of each. They informed me that a computer managed the sale prices and it was offline so they were unable to honor the price that was displayed in the window. The computer that charged full price was just fine though. I asked if a manager could adjust the price manually. They replied no. So I advised I would not pay the elevated price, and I left. I’m summarizing, as their actual response was less eloquent and barely passed as English. The food is OK. But the service is crap. Won’t be back.

Only because one star is the lowest. My wife had an incident about a week ago where a refund for frozen burgers was nearly impossible to obtain. We tried to avoid this location, but not very familiar with area, and very tired from work, stopped by same one. Cold Krystal burgers, no ice in tea and fries seemed to have been under heat lamp all night. Do I call? Take food back? Or just avoid Krystal altogether? I will, instead, contact the owner or corporate… something. This is rediculous.

What can I say, I grew up with Krystal and White Castle. Whether it was late at night after being out for the evening or on the way to work in the morning nursing a hangover it was always great comfort food. Why am I saying what it still is.
They’ve added little chili cheese hot dogs to their overall crystal menu which are just as enticing as a regular Krystal burger. I know, I know this is not a burger, burger but it’s a Krystal burger. Come on you gotta know these things and love them. They are what they are and they don’t pretend to be anything else.
I accept them for exactly what they are and appreciate them for their healing and comfort food feeling that they give me. I know everybody doesn’t feel the same but this is the childhood memory that I have been able to carry on throughout my entire life. I enjoy them as much today as I did when I was a child. The addition of the chili cheese pups are just a bonus.
I understand crystal may not be for everybody but, it is open 24 hours a day which makes it very convenient. There’s only two of them in town which makes it very inconvenient depending on where you live. But for some of us, it will always be part of our unhealthy diet. I pride myself on not eating fast food but this is the one I frankly just refuse to give up. I don’t indulge in it that often but when I do I sure appreciate it for just what it is, nothing more nothing less.
What’s a girl to do? Some things just never change no matter how old you get, lol!

Krystal serves great mini burgers. The staff is friendly and the food is great and less expensive definitely would love to come back

Gotta love late night bites. I miss White Castle so this is a good stand in :)
