Laser hair removal is something I’ve wanted for awhile and last year I finally decided to take the plunge. I’d read horror stories and bad reviews about other laser hair removal companies like Ideal Image so I was little hesitant and not sure who I could trust to deliver great service for the right price. I did some searching on Unilocal and Google and found the great reviews about Mary Beth and Laser Affair. I’m here to tell you that the hype is real!
During my consultation, Mary Beth explained in extensive detail how the laser works, how many treatments I would most likely need and what I could expect as far as results. I have a tan-​olive complexion and Mary Beth was not sure if my skin tone would work. Darker complexions can sometimes burn from the laser. I appreciated her honesty and I knew then that I could trust Mary Beth because she was not about to charge me for services and use the laser on me anyway if she didn’t expect it would work or burn me. Luckily, after a few test spots with the laser, she determined it would work well with my tan complexion. I had about 6 – 7 treatments and not once did I burn or experience any discomfort. Her prices are reasonable and you can pay as you go. She was also extremely flexible with appointments and worked with my schedule.
It’s been about a year since my last laser appointment, and the areas treated have had virtually no regrowth. Every now and then I’ll notice a few soft hairs which are so light you can barely see them, but that’s normal. I cannot tell you how much time and money I’ve saved not having to buy razors or pay for waxes. Not to mention the confidence of having smooth skin, which is priceless. I’m already thinking about going back to have more areas treated, and I won’t go to anyone else but Mary Beth!

I loved both Mary Beth and my results so much, this is only my second Unilocal review in years! The moment Mary Beth shook my hand it was as if she was family. The consultation was thorough, passionate, comforting and she didn’t rush. She operates out of a surgeon’s office and her room is spotless. I heard both horror and success stories from people who had laser hair removal and I didn’t know what to expect, Mary Beth put me at ease. I received treatment on my lip, chin, underarms, bikini, upper leg, knee and happy trail. One would think that I would be in pain and it would be a dreadful session. Nope! Mary Beth and I shared stories, laughed and talked about life. Next thing I knew it was over. I was skipping out of the office so happy and couldn’t wait to see the results from my first treatment. *My results exceeded my expectations. Prior to my treatment, I had to shave every day; it’s been 4 weeks and I’ve picked up the razor only ONCE (no joke). I have been looking forward to my second treatment for weeks! The only regret I have is I didn’t do my lower leg. What are you waiting for, book your appointment today!!!

I’ve had prior experience with this and I can confidently say that Mary Beth is knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly passionate with not only her career but with customer service. She is SO busy and by her packed schedule alone you can tell that she has many clients… and for a good reason! She is located within a plastic surgeon’s office so there’s always a doctor nearby (you never know when you need one) and the room itself is very clean.
The prices are competitive, especially for the quality of not only the treatment you get but also the customer service. Mary Beth is incredibly receptive to all common methods of communication such as e-​mail, phone, and even texting!

I hardly ever write reveiws but felt that Mary Beth from Laser Affair deserved some positive feedback. I initially learned about Laser Affair from online reviews and read mostly positive things so I went in for a free consolutation. Mary Beth was very informative and organized and even did a few test spots for me for free. She seems very knowledgable about what she’s doing.
Pros:
1. EXCELLANT customer service. She available to answer questions at any time. Just text/​call her.
2. Very professional
3. Well informed and organized
4. Will come in on the weekends and accomodate her schedule to yours
5. Willing to negotiate on pricing somewhat (which the largers spas will not do)
CONS:
1. Prices are a slightly higher than other places and less likely to find a Groupon deal given that she works for herself as opposed to the larger spas.
2. Too pricey if you’re going just for touch-​ups.
Overall, if you’re new to laser hair removal or looking for someone to go to, try Laser Affair.

I usually don’t do very many reviews. I don’t like writing them and I am not the best writer. I will only do a review if I am impressed with a service that I feel very strongly about. I have done lots of research about laser hair removal and was quite afraid of getting this service done but decided to do it only because I had read that Mary Beth was the best and actually cared about her clienteles comfort and their pocketbook.
Without a doubt this experience exceeded my expectations, First of all there is no high pressure sales. No paying up front for X amount of visits. She explains everything thoroughly and professionally and makes sure you understand exactly what her expectations are as far as results goes. Today was my second visit. I decided to wait until my 2^nd visit before I did this review so that I would be able to write something more than telling about how amazingly wonderful and sweet that she is. Although she is all of that and a truly beautiful lady the most important thing to say is that you will be over the top impressed by the service and results you will receive. After my first visit I went from shaving most of my body on a daily basis to only needing a once a week shave on most parts. My underarms I shaved twice in 5 weeks! If you are worried about the discomfort then you should stop. Very little discomfort and amazing results with an extremely great value. Without a doubt the very best that Tampa or probably anywhere else has to offer.
