Great place for the kids after a game, on a Friday night when you don’t feel like cooking or couples who want a casual meal. We hadn’t been here in a while but my stepson was in town for the fair. From FSU with his girl friend and his sister(who is flying from our nest in 2 weeks) so we took the gang here. The owner recognized us and gave us a warm greeting and let is choose a large table for the 5 of us. We started off with the new fried ravioli with jalapeños and even I liked them! We also had the mozzarella sticks. I’ve never met a mozzarella stick I didn’t like. Lol. We ordered a large pizza with meatballs and a smaller one with mushrooms. I am a huge fan of meatballs so I loved that pizza. Just so you know. Ledo’s pizza is a thin crust pizza served on trays. I believe this style became popular in Baltimore. Our waitress filled up my soda without me ever asking and the place was jumping. A great spot for a wonderful meal at a reasonable price!

The pizza LOOKED amazing. It was very bland and the sauce tasted jarred. The staff was nice, French fry appetizers was tasty but the Pizza was subpar

Why 4 stars? Because this is a quick and convenient form of pizza. — — — When it comes to choosing a meal, I’m normally going to let quality dictate my decision more than convenience. But there’s something to be said for being able to be eating something within 15 minutes of leaving your house, all while taking less of a hit to the wallet. Especially when that something is pretty decent! Ledo serves up a very unique pizza. It’s thin and cut into small pieces, not slices. You can definitely go through one of these really quickly. The style/design of the building is definitely a bit outdated — it almost has the feel of a diner, in a way. But what are the benefits of a diner? Cheap and inexpensive. The same can be said here. So cheers to my neighborhood pizza diner! There are many concoctions of pizza here, as well as subs and various entrees like spaghetti, lasagna, etc. We will definitely be back for more!

Precision pizza pie! The dough is soft and flaky with a rich buttery taste and the sweet sauce is good with the pepperoni! I always order two!

Ordered lunch to go at Ledo Pizza this week. To go order was ready in 10 minutes. I ordered a 14″ veggie pizza. Apparently I did not read the menu very well because the veggie pizza did not have cheese and I definitely wanted cheese(vegan pizza option!). Luckily they gave me 6 packets of parmesan! The pizza was rectangular with a thin crust and was heaping with fresh vegetables. I definitely enjoyed this pizza much more than I thought I would despite the cheese situation.

I’m a Chicago guy. Love my deep dish, love my neighborhood style thin cracker crust pizzas. Ledo’s is a different but excellent alternative. Good tasting pepperoni, sausage and meatballs. Ordered a bacon, black olive and onion pizza, great! And as left overs, this pizza reheats well! While its not«Chicago» style, it covers the desire for me. Nice people, good options fair prices. It’s becoming a regular stop on my list of places to go in Tampa!

In a world with an infinite number of pizza joints on every corner, Ledo Pizza stands out as one of the better joints in Tampa. I had a salad, the Ledo Deluxe personal pizza, and a Spaghetti & Meatballs to go. I liked everything I had, their meatballs and sauce are a little sweet and very tasty! The pizza is a thin crust and they make sure to get all the ingredients on each slice, which is a nice change for a pizzeria. With outside seating, I could bring the pup as well.\and the service was great, they even brought my pup some water. All in all a great place for a slice and more!

Saw a groupon for this place and decided to try it on a date night with my wife. Very nice neighborhood pizza joint. The space isnt very large, maybe 10 tables and booths, but still spacious enough for families or groups. The staff was very friendly, our server made sure to asj if we had been to the restaurant before and describe their style of pizza a bit to us. They have a couple of big screen TVs at both ends of the restaurant as well so people facing either direction can watch whatever is on, could be a low-key place to watch a game at. Their pizza(I believe it is referred to as St. Louis style) is a thin dough and crust with a sauce that is more tangy and a bit sweeter than you’ll find at a run-of-the-mill pizza place, my wife and I really enjoyed it. Their selection of beer is quite good as well. There isn’t much more you could ask for in a neighborhood pizza place, my wife and I will definitely be back.

It was funny to see a Ledo’s here again in my backyard after growing up with them in MD my whole life. I stopped by because they had a Welcome to the Neighborhood coupon that came in the mail. Unfortunately as much as I love the one in MD, this was a disappointment. They were so unfriendly, the pizza was oily, and the restaurant just looked run down. I’ll come back again sometime to see if they have good wings(which were some of my favorites in MD). I guess if I’m ever missing home I can stop by and reminisce at Ledo’s.

I love love love this pizza. Originally from Chicago was frustrated trying to find good pizza. Ledos is amazing, I’m addicted to their buffalo chicken pizza. The staff is very sweet and appreciative of your business.

My wife’s family comes from MD and Ledo is very popular up there. I have found a Ledo Pizza in other cities I’ve lived(i.e. Atlanta and Orlando) but they don’t seem to last. This location in Tampa has been there awhile and I’m glad it is thriving. They do a great job with the pizza here. I believe this is known as St. Louis style pizza(perhaps?) so it may be different from what you’re used to and that could be good or bad. Personally, I love it. Thin crust, tangy sauce, provolone cheese, thick pepperoni. I get it several times whenever I visit Tampa or MD. Give it a shot and there’s a good chance you’ll love it, too.

The dough was under cooked. Very plain tasting pizza. I will not repeat. Disappointed.

Ledo pizza is amazing! The sauce is so good! This location in particular was outstanding. Great food and awesome service! If you’re in the Tampa area you must stop in! Side note: I love ledo pizza so much that my husband and I drove all the way from Orlando to eat here and we weren’t disappointed!

Ledo’s crust is different, but an interesting different. Like Nuprin. Remember Nuprin? Well, if it was a pizza crust, it would be Ledo’s pizza crust. Thin. Flaky. Different. Ledo’s. The pepperoni is really good. It’s sliced thick and has a nice spicy kick to it. I wish I’d taken a picture, because each little square slice of the pie had a single slice of pepperoni on it. I found it amusing. They have decent garlic bread too. Bottom line: If you’re looking for New York style pizza, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a crispy, almost Chicago style thin crust, that has at least once(and probably only once) been compared to a pain reliever that doesn’t exist anymore, Ledo’s is your place.

Just tried Ledo pizza tonight for the first time and it was AMAZING. Crust is light and tasty. Sauce is delicious. Pepperoni was thick and great. Service was awesome. I have nothing negative to say. I’d much rather pay a few bucks more for this pizza than cheaper pizza from a chain restaurant. I definitely recommend it. There wings were crispy and juicy too. I love their pizza sauce btw. It was excellent.

I’d seen good reviews for Ledo’s, and have eaten at one in Maryland a few years back. My wife tends to like thin crust pizza, so we gave it a try. We each got our own individual pizza. All were pretty good, with lots of fresh toppings. The service was friendly, and this is definitely a «kid friendly» place, so expect some noise from younger children. The one issue I had is that the pizza was really greasy. I don’t know if it was the same as other pizza and the dough is thin so it doesn’t absorb it, but there were pools of it that formed in the corners of the square crust. It tasted good, but I felt like I’d been next to deep fryer after eating it. Overall it was fine as a pizza place, but I would put it well behind chains like Mellow Mushroom in terms of flavor and overall quality. It is close to our house, so I’m sure we’ll stop in again at some point, I just wouldn’t make any plans to go out of my way to eat here.

LEDO Pizza is a great alternative to the dough-heavy pizza joints out there. They’re consistent with good service. I’m usually served by the same one or two individuals anyway and they certainly contribute to the friendly and consistent service. Place is clean and with a good amount of seating(lots of booths). You have the option to dine-in or you can take-out. No delivery, but that’s no problem for me as I enjoy my pizza hot and fresh and not cardboard tasting. Their pizzas, along with their several other menu items ranging from soups and salads to subs and sandwiches to calzones to fries to pastas and several other items are reasonably priced. I typically order the 8 inch pizza w/LEDO sauce(cut into squares) with green olives and mushrooms. Always tasty and the toppings are fresh. I like their sauce as well and sometimes order just a little extra. Cheese is of good quality. Again, the pizza is thin crust so the bread alone won’t fill you up. It’s $ 5.99 for an 8-inch and .75 each for most of their toppings(double the price for their speciality toppings). Nice deal.

My husband first introduced me to Ledo Pizza when we were dating in college. He’s from Potomac, MD so he grew up on Ledo Pizza and absolutely loves it. I admit I wasn’t the biggest fan at first. I love thin crust pizza, but I had never experienced a pizza crust quite like Ledo’s. The crust is more crumbly and has a buttery cracker like taste. My husband thought I was insane for not immediately falling in love with this pizza, but hey, it’s just not the kind of pizza I grew up on! Over the years my husband continued bringing home Ledo Pizza and I admit the pizza has grown on me. The pizza is square shaped instead of your typical round pie so the squares in the middle have no crust — my favorite! We usually get the cheese pizza or the white pizza. The restaurant also offers sandwiches, soups, salads, appetizers, pastas, and hoagies on their menu, but we always order the pizza. If you are from Maryland and want a taste of home stop by Ledo Pizza. Be sure to tell the owner you are a «local» and they’ll let you sign the wall.

I’ve never had any meal here other than pizza, and I probably never will. Their pizza is just *that* good. I grew up in Maryland, and whenever our family got pizza, it was from Ledo’s. After driving by this location on Dale Mabry multiple times, and laughing at the coincidence of a pizza place using the same name as my favorite place in MD, I looked it up online and realized it IS the same place. Woo hoo! I’ve been here three times now, and the pizza is just like I remembered, and just as good as I hoped it would be. To start with — the pizza is square, and the pieces are cut into little squares. It’s thin crust, which is my favorite kind of pizza, as I hate filling up on dough. The red sauce is sweet, and very distinctive. I’ve tried all different varieties of pizza here, but I always come back to the classic pepperoni pizza. Each individual square piece of pizza gets it own thick cut slice of pepperoni on top. Heaven! Then, before you know it, you’ve eaten multiple squares, and you roll out the door, fat and happy. Service was good, waitress was friendly, and stopped by frequently to make sure we had what we needed. I do wish they supplied better quality paper napkins, as I went through about 1 per slice, but at least they are on the table to grab as many as you need. Long and short of it — you know I’ll be back!
