Fantastic neighborhood bar! We’ve frequented Longbar for about 5 years now and it’s one of our favorite hidden gems in the area! Sure beach bars are great every now and then but paying the prices they charge isn’t always flattering. I know I can go to Longbar and get reasonably priced pitchers of beer, shots, & food. While the prices are certainly up there among the reason that I love this place, the food has been solid from the first plate of nachos I ordered years ago! They have a great variety of food on their menu… — Wings — Burgers — Sandwiches(Chicken, Cuban, Ham, Turkey, Grilled Cheese, Philly, etc.) — Salads — Pizza(homemade and delicious!) And it’s ALL great! We’ve never had a bad meal at Longbar and at times prefer to eat there vs. many other restaurants in the area. Besides the great prices and food, the main thing that keeps us coming back is the real«neighborhood bar» feel. Each and every time we go there we are greeted by the same staff that has worked there the entire time we’ve gone there. The owners Francis and Daisy are normally there most days and are always welcoming and like to stop and chat. Really great people! The other bartenders are friendly as well and everyone remembers you. You really feel like you’re walking into a small town bar.

Longbar kicks butt. Super chill to hang out with co workers after work to have a couple beers and play some pool. wonderful service and friendly people. Open late. Perfect.

Your run of the mill dive bar. Food is decent, service is friendly, beer selection is non-existent strictly your cheap macro-brew garbage. But that’s what a dive bar is, right? Parking is horrible so I’d recommend just walking. I mean you’re only coming here because it’s right across the street from your apartment anyway, right?

This is a pretty decent dive bar. I am rating it on just that. Cheaper drinks, food was above par as far as bar food goes. I had steak with mushrooms appetizer, was very tasty and what I expected. Good place to watch games and they have pool tables and games if your with friends.

Smokey, smokey, smokey dive bar with surprisingly good food. Highly recommend the club sandwich and the pizza isn’t bad either. Beer prices are very reasonable too. Just don’t expect to leave there without smelling like an ash tray.

This place has verry good bar food, Cubans are to die for all around every thing is good. Dri KS are well poured. Except you can smoke in the bar so on a busy night it gets really smoky

Super friendly staff coupled with tasty pub style food equals complete satisfaction. This is a little gem in the T&C Triangle that mixes older folk and hipsters seamlessly. Not pretentious and straight out fun. The crinkle cut fries are the best EVER. Open late. Can’t go wrong. Win! I love it!

Best Wings in town! I ordered mine with the dry rub and sauce on the side, and they are better than any Hooters or Wing Warehouse. There’s three pool tables to play on, and the staff is very friendly. Love this little place!

The epitome of a dive bar if I’ve ever seen one, but I like dive bars so I can’t complain one bit. Cheap drinks, HUGE shots, decent(and not annoying) crowd, and very friendly and quick bar staff. I was here on a Saturday night around midnight, the place was packed, yet I did not have one single problem getting drinks. If you’re not a smoker, don’t bother, because it is definitely smokey, but they ventilate the bar as well as they can. They have pool tables, a dart board and, from what I’ve heard, pretty amazing food. I’ve been told the pizza is some of the best around, so I will definitely be back to try it and will leave an update. But this is a fun place to definitely check out.

So, we read some of the reviews and decided to check this place out. It truly is a local place. Normally we like places like this but this one was a different story. The staff was not at all friendly. Now, we’re used to a bit of a chill when walking into a local place we’ve never been to before but this was more than a chill. This place is big; so, it’s not like it was a tiny place filled with regulars. They have to serve lots of non-regulars but apparently they don’t like to. I asked what kind of vodka she had and she gave me a serious evil eye. The bar isn’t backlit so you can see there’s a variety of vodka but you can’t see what they are. She acted like it killed her to read off the vodka list. If it’s such a hassle print up a list of alcohol available and pass it out. Or better yet ask what kind of vodka I like and make a recommendation. Don’t treat me like I’m bothering you. They seemed not to like waiting on anyone not a regular. The non-regulars we’re easy to spot because service was crappy otherwise. The crowd is a true mix, which we like. It’s nice to meet a variety of people. Lots of TV’s for lots of sports. Overall, if you’re not a regular they don’t ant to serve you so don’t bother.

Been seeing this place since I moved to this neighborhood. My friend and I decided to meet up after work to discuss some issues! The prizes for the drinks was not bad at all and the appetizers was amazing! I ordered the wings and fried pickles. The wings were great and the fried pickles is the best I tried so far! Our server Amanda was awesome. She made sure that we feel welcome and made sure that we get our orders on time! The name itself carries the bar! Longbar it’s really a long bar! Will be visiting this place soon and bringing some friends with me!

Great food and service here for Friday lunches. Specials are $ 6.49 and they have happy hour all day. If you can’t handle a little smoke then this place isn’t for you.

As soon as we got in one of my friends was wearing a tank tops and he was asked to put on a shirt with sleeves. He went to the car to grab a sweatshirt. Good music but a very sexist place. They won’t let men wear tank tops in the bar. When we asked them what the reason behind it was since there was girls with tank tops on, one of the guys working there responded«are you a women? I don’t fucken think so! Put your damn sweatshirt on!» Really bad customer service.

The name says it all. Only stopped here because of a friend working behind the bar. Food was ok. They do have a lot coverage on the bar. I’m sure it’s ok on any other night. However, the people that go there are not so nice. My husband was approached by a woman demanding he buy her a drink. I had to step in and ask her to move on. Staff did not see her out and she moved to other people.

Did you know that Longbar actually has a small«dance area» at the other end? I bet not because this sucker is so long that you’d have to walk your buzz off just to see it. Worth a look! Hilarious things happen on that dancefloor. It’s not the only reason I love this place. The stench of cigarettes, depression, and chili cheese dogs is just a bonus. Move over Mark H. this ain’t your momma’s cocktail bar!

Well yeah, it is quite a long bar!!! What a group of characters. I am no prude, but the language was, ah wow… Filthy. Drinks were cheap and strong. I had a chili cheese dog and fries that was yummy. Hey it’s just a dog and fries, with chili, cheese and raw onion., OKAY, it’s my breath. What’s a girl to do? It is early… coming up next is, you’ll find out when I do!

Walk in and you’re belly-up to the bar. Move to the left, more bar. Move to the right, even more bar. Look around the corner? More fucking BAR! This truly is a long-ass bar. Divey, smoky and an eclectic crowd for sure, from young adults who were still wet behind the ears to q-tips. I like me some dive bars, so why only two stars? Because the beer selection was weak(2 or 3 craft beers) and they couldn’t even whip up an old fashioned for me. No bitters and no oranges? Crazy talk. What else? Our bartender looked as if she should be retired, sitting in a rocking chair somewhere with some needles and yarn. She wasn’t very friendly either. I hear the food is decent, but I’m afraid there won’t be a return visit for me to authenticate that claim. Dagwood’s is clearly the best dive bar in the TnC area.

Great sports dive bar. The food is one of the best bar food menus I have seen. Try the wings, chicken wrap, and pizza. Service is excellent. Only draw back is that there is smoking.

We stumbled(not literally) into the Longbar Pub when seeking a place to watch the Super Bowl. Little did we know that we would discover a great sports bar with countless TV’s and awesome sound system for viewing pleasure, über friendly pub environs and outstanding bar food all wrapped up in a neat Longbar package. Within minutes of entering, the owners introduced themselves and we immediately felt like locals. These folks understand homegrown hospitality and work hard to make it happen. A product of their Iowa roots coupled with southern charm. Try the beef tips and mushrooms. A side note, coming from a non-smoking(bar or restaurant) state we were a bit surprised at the number of smokers on premise. That said, the ventilation was good and smoke only slightly an issue. Everyone was friendly and there for a good time… even the Broncos fans. A great place to watch the big game.
