I went to Dr. Katz for a hammertoe problem that was throwing off my balance and causing additional problems in my feet and knees. I attempted to ignore the fact that the office looked like a pediatrician’s office and his front office staff had no idea what they were doing. I also felt that his answers to my questions were extremely vague. Despite my hesitation, I allowed him to perform minor surgery on my left foot. He failed to give me proper direction for therapy. The surgery did not fix the problem and he did not offer any additional options. I saw another doctor afterward who found that the reason for my severe pain was the result of a neuroma. Dr. Katz missed this completely. When I got my bill, I saw that he charged me $ 40 for the 2 pieces of padding he gave me to put in my shoes. Outrageous! I called the office manager to request a discount. The office staff told me the office manager would call me back, but he never did.

Best Podiatrist in Tampa period. One of the few that cares more about the patient than making money.

I have been to Dr. Katz’s office twice for different conditions. Each time, was prompt, took his time, made the correct diagnosis and treatment. I have had 4 different DPMs in my life… this one is by far the best. I would highly recommend him. I wish I went to him sooner!
He also has a very helpful and responsive staff… consistently excellent.
