Marco’s Pizza

Delicious pizza! The Greek salad and bread sticks are great too! :) My family and I were very pleased!

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised when this pizza showed up! I wasn’t expecting much, the only reason being that it’s on base, which turned out to be completely unfair. I already had a good impression before the pizza was delivered, based off of the friendliness of the order-​taker. The delivery individual was just as on top of things! I ordered a thin crust with all the meats, just how I like it, and with garlic crust. It looked delicious and tasted as good as it looked. I also asked for extra garlic sauce, which was tasty and in my opinion better than Papa John’s. I also ordered the smallest size of garden salad which was very substantial, lots of veggies and very fresh. Definitely a great option on base!

I don’t live on base so my experience has been carryout or dine in only. Every time I come here, the food has been great. They have some seating inside, but they also have a nice spot on the side with outdoor seating. They are always super nice when I come over, and for a quick food place, the employees never seem to find people to be an inconvenience. Some places like these see themselves as machines that are there to do a monotonous job and the employees at this establishment don’t seem to subscribe to that mentality. They seem happy, and that is satisfying to me as a customer. I tip every once in a while even though they do not serve tables.
The food is great and cheap! Ask about their lunch special for $ 6.49. These are not part of the specials, but my favorite food here are the garden pizza and the chicken club tuscano (must try!). Make sure to check the board to the left when you come in, as the overhead menu will have quick, limited options. Wait times vary, it takes longest if you get a pizza that hasn’t been made yet naturally, and if they’re busy it takes a good while too (about 10 minutes). But everything seems to be made to order so that’s good. If you’re ever on base, you wouldn’t be sorry for visiting!

For living on base it’s about the best you can get since they’re the only ones that deliver. Regardless of the amount of orders they have, they will always quote 40 – 45 min. Could be expensive but convenient if you don’t want to go anywhere.
