I just moved here and the price was very reasonable for my unit. Matt and Ivan are great! They are not only friendly and helpful, they will try to be very accommodating of your needs.

We recently changed units within Metro, Matt was extremely helpful with everything. He helped make this experience easy and painless. I highly recommend dealing with him :)

I was in need for a space to help with my online business. Over the years have become disillusioned with Public Storage and a few others. So I did a search online to see what was available, price, location and convenience. So came across Metro Storage, since I pass by the location in Carrollwood everyday, I decided to check them out. The online reservation system was nice, could see what was available and what specials that are available. Saw that they had a 5×10 outside climate controlled, which was what I need at the time. So placed my reservation and went in the next day. Matt was helpful in getting me all set up walked me through everything, making sure all my questions were answered. The transaction went very smooth and fast.
The 24 hour access works out for me quite well, seeing as sometimes late at night I need to answer some customers questions about Items that I am selling. Would say that if any problems arise that they are very helpful, but since I have been renting have not ran into any. But knowing that the Manager, Matt is onsite alleviates any doubts that I would have. When It came time to get a bigger space, they worked with me to pick the best one and worked out the numbers and we decided on a 10×20 inside climate controlled, so instead of renting a brand new space, that we would just transfer my account to the new unit. Overall I am extremely satisfied with everything about my time here. Place is always well kept, clean and the price I pay for the 10×20 is just a little more than what Public Storage charges for a 10×10.

Metro Self Storage on gunn Hwy is a good facility. The place is always clean and well kept. I been a customer for 4 years and have been happy but I have noticed that they keep raising the price which I think if your a good customer (Never late on pymts) and have been there as long as I have been you should be given a break on the amount you are charged or maybe 1-​or 2 month discount? Food for thought Metro!

Why would anyone use Public Storage when this little gem of a storage facility exists? I was looking for the best deal in town and they were less than HALF the price!!!
Laurie at the front office was beyond helpful; she was downright amazing! Her personality and eagerness to help will make you excited about something as mundane as securing storage. I walked away feeling as though I had made a new friend.
The facilities are super clean, it’s all very secure, and you just can’t beat their prices anywhere in town.
They receive my highest rating and approval.

Metro Self Storage on West Fletcher Ave. provides a safe clean environment to store your belongings. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Jeff took the time to show me around the property and opened a couple of units in order to get a visual of the space each provided. Metro was the first place I looked and Jeff was very understanding when I told him I had other places on my list to check before deciding.
Metro is by far the best storage facility. Each building has a flat cart to help move things more easily, the entire property is clean & safe and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. (Even the other renters are friendly).

This place is big and the price is right! We purchased a 10×10. These seemed to be a lot more bang for the buck that was Uhaul was offering.
Dave was friendly and showed great customer service. He was there Saturday when I checked the place out and then Sunday when I came back to buy it. Drive up access, climate control, lots of cameras.
The locks are a bit more than other storage places, but you can use your own lock, it just has to be one of those special ones. You also have to buy insurance if you don’t have a homeowners policy that covers. We got the first month for a dollar special, but other administrative fees and lock and insurance out us up around 40 for the first month and 110 for the following months, but I am still convinced I got the most convenient space for the least money.

This was my first time using a storage facility, so I did my research before I went. I compared many, many places. This was the best price for what I needed. The place is clean. There is video surveillance, heavy locked gates, and the doors to each building are locked with a code that is only given to those who rent a unit in THAT building (I know, because I tried to go into the wrong one accidentally.) There are no contracts, which is nice. You can cancel whenever. Again, this is is going to be the BEST PRICE around this area. I ended up getting a 5×10 climate controlled space for $ 54/​month, with a 50% discount for the first three months. There is a $ 22 admin fee, but they were very up front about it.
Dislikes:
1. It is hard to get someone on the phone if you call. They seem to be short staffed, I finally gave up calling and just drove down there. While I was there, the poor man running things was too busy to answer the phone. He was very attentive though, I did not have to wait at all for him once I arrived.
2. It is obvious that the employees are trained to be aggressive, maybe even «pushy» sales people, which can be obnoxious. He did not have to try hard to close me, because I had already decided on this location. However, if he HAD needed to close the sale, I don’t think it would have been pleasant. They even have a list of sales techniques and tips taped to the counter in plain view of the customers.

Metro Self Storage is located along Gunn Highway, next to the RaceTrac gas station, and just north of the intersection with Linebaugh Avenue & Busch Boulevard.
The facility is surrounded by a heavy fence with two 24-​hour keypad access gates. They offer indoor climate-​controlled storage, as well as the standard outdoor secure storage sheds. You put your own lock on the shed, and then use it like a secure closet.
The facility is very clean, the people are super friendly, and their prices are very competitive.
If you need a little extra space to store your stuff, then this is the place for you!
