Love this salon! Mimi has been doing my nails for years now, and I always make it a point to come here. I’ve been through many nail shapes and styles throughout the years, and have loved them all as well as any nail design I get done here.
This girl is sincerely the best in Tampa! How do I know? Because I’m always getting complimented on my nails CONSTANTLY! Doesn’t matter where I am; school, the mall, a public restroom. Strangers, friends, and colleagues always make it a point to compliment my nails! They have been the topic of many conversation openings.
I always make it a point to refer people here if they are trying to get their nails on point-​including people who don’t live here. Just make sure you have Mimi personally do your nail designs for you. Her work is impeccable, and I’ve unfortunately learned to just stick with her solely.

By all means, do not let the older lady do your nails. I’m pretty sure she is NOT a licensed cosmetologist. She butchered my cuticles and left me bleeding. Went in for gel nails and came out with nails that look like bubble nails (google it). She gave me 8 coats of polish (yes, I counted). Eight! That is not normal! Then she rubbed so much baby oil on my hands and arms, I got it all over my clothes and car. Gross! Please do not have your nails done by this woman. She was a lovely woman but she should not be doing nails.

Wish I could give it 0 stars! My daughter and I went to get pedicures this past Saturday and had an awful experience. The appointments I made were a waste of time because we still had to wait, the pedicures were rushed and not done good at all, the lady that did my daughters was very rude, and they were very over priced. I paid about 60 bucks for the 2 of us. I’m actually going to my regular place tomorrow to get another one, a great pedicure should last 3 weeks. It looks like I got my toes painted and that’s it! Steer clear of this dump!

I’ve been going Mimi’s Nail Art for nearly a year and am very happy with the quality of work and professionalism. Pedicures are on point. I’ve not had acrylics done there but I know several friends that have and they’ve been super happy. Every time Mimi does my nails I’m stopped by people who want to admire them. I even had her do my nails for my wedding. I do hair and it’s nearly impossible for gel to stay on my nails but that’s not the case when I have my nails done at Mimi’s!
