Had one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had… the boss. HUGE sandwich for a little over 6.00 – gave me lunch for 2 days!

They make the best Cuban Sandwiches. Everything that l have had for my many lunches have all been amazing. They are very clean and fast bringing out your order which is a plus when you are on your lunch break from work… love this place very much.

Moxies Too is an local staple for lunch in the area immediately north of the airport. My office is around the corner, and they are always near the top of the list. The food is all consistently good, with ample portions of meat and cheese on the sandwiches and salads. All the sandwiches come on Cuban bread unless listed otherwise. My personal favorite is the Chicago beef served wet with hot peppers. The Cuban bread pushes this combo ahead of the pack. Service is always excellent, and they know their repeat customers by name. They do get busy at lunch, so calling in your order 10 minutes ahead is a good idea.

Quick decent soups and sandwiches very fast and staff is friendly. Great for an easy lunch. If you have multiple orders call ahead they will have it ready for pick up. They can also deliver to you.

Moxie’s Too is not nearly the same as Moxie’s in Downtown. I had gone here with the same expectations as the first Moxie’s location, and ended up with a mediocre lunch. I always love the huge, fresh salads at Moxie’s, so I decided to get the cobb salad at Moxie’s Too. What I ended up with was a pre-made salad served to me in a plastic clam shell even though I was dining in. While the salad was fresh and all of the meats and cheeses were fresh, I just expected better from an offshoot of the original location. Points also get deducted based off the fact that there is no signage for this place– you’d really have to know it’s here to find it(in the non-descript plaza directly across from Circle K, it’s facing the road). Prices are definitely great though, with a salad and a drink at only $ 8. Affordable, simple, but not memorable.

We dived into from a downpour. So far my four kids are happy, which is really all that matters. Chocolate chip pancakes with whip cream are a winner. The tuna salad I had is advertized as the best in town. I agree pretty darn good, I had my tuna sandwich toasted on cuban bread with provalone cheese. The herbal tea choices are good. My wife’s salad is good, but she doesn’t remember what she ordered. The servers are attentive. We will call our experience a winner.

I was working in the area and this was the closest lunch option to grab a quick bite. I tried the Bourbon Street — roast beef sandwich on pressed Cuban bread with a Tomato-Bell Pepper sauce. Sandwich was delightful, service was quick and location convenient. If I’m in the area again I’ll definitely be back to try something else as they have an extensive menu of sandwiches, salads and breakfast items.

I have been here multiple times and never been disapointed, Yes, it ia a bit off the beaten path and people usually find it by word of mouth or by being lost. I have tried several breakfast items, sandwiches, salads and special. Moxie;s isn’t that large and at peak times can become quite crowded. I usually get my food to go and sit in the car and devour whatever I got that day. I love heir egg salad sandwich, I know that is a bit wierd to say. Something as simple as an egg salad sandwich, they just have a way with it or a secret ingredient, I have yet to figure out. It is creamy, but chunky. Mild, but has a little kick, it just hits all the right notes for me. I love this little place, for exactly what it is, nothing fancy, just some good food. The owners are always working hard for their customers and letting you have it your way, if you choose to change teir way and this does not upset or phase them at all. They are always friendly. Ah, so it is a bit outdated on the interior, but that has no effect on the taste of the food. I will continue to return to this special café. What’s a girl to do? A good sammie is hard to find at a fair price, so ya keep going back.

One of the best lunch places in Tampa! Had the Amore which was wonderful! Tender roast beef on Cuban with just the right amount of garlic mayo. I’ve never had a sandwich here that I haven’t liked. Service is very quick and friendly. I highly recommend it!!!

RIGHTONTARGET, WITHTHEIRBYE, BYEBIRDIESALAD. He is so Moist and tender, creamy! outstanding! INMYOPINIONPUTTINGDRESSINGONITWOULDJUSTKILLTHEWHOLETHING! Ask for dressing on the side I always do a little test when I first order salads or barbecue food for that matter, try a little on the side and test it. Any barbecue meat I put little mounds of different combinations of sauces and DIP pork or any other meat in my little test sauce Samplers. When my friends or Family hear me say, Mmm… Mmm…Mmm… OMGTHATISGOOD! My favorite when it comes to BBQ sauce is Carolina and the sweet and Hot Molasses Base, Oh Lord. Same concept for salad dressings, point I was trying to make put a little on the corner of your play in the little salad and see if it’s a MMM… or not happening :-) ANDNO I HAVENOTSEENBARBECUEATMOXIE’S, IT’S JUSTTOSHOWYOUTHATMYMINDISALWAYSROLLINGWHENITCOMESTOGOODFOODANDEXPERIMENTINGANDTRYINGNEWTHINGSWHENITCOMESTOGOODFOOD… very hard to find anything that is not delicious at Moxie’s. I know I have not. When I am at Moxie’s I have fun with all my senses. The place is been there for a while and even though it may not seem that way. It is charming I find it clean. Yes maybe could use a little facelift, but feels just right. The warmth from the owners and the staff and they start early at 6:30AM and work till 4PM Monday through Friday those are very long days. Even before closing they serve you with a smile make you feel welcomed and you leave very happy and feel appreciated. Have some ice cream, if you are one of the lucky ones who is not a member of the DREADED lactose free club. I SUREHOPE, that the owner considers getting the soy almond Frozen Yogurt. And Sorry, some like to compare gelato to frozen yogurt. It is not frozen yogurt. Gelato is an Italian sherbet type of frozen Dessert.(Sorbet). A franchise has said in the East Coast of Florida by the way it is a frozen yogurt. That taste like Ammaretto it is creamy nice fake text are not icy or watery. Fair warning: ITISINCREDIBLY! ADDICTING! The cookies at Moxie’s Look unbelievably good will half one the next time I go by which will be very soon. Yes, downtown can be rather challenging when it comes to parking. However, finding such wonderful treasures like Moxie’s makes it all worth while. When I walked in I felt all the stress and tension just leaving my body and I was so glad that I was back. Can’t wait for the cooler weather so I can get on my bike or even walk it’s not that far from me over to the downtown area and stop by Moxie’s. Work near by and second time ordering sandwich. Got the turkey club, expecting the 3 decker sandwich. YUCK. All their sandwiches seemed to be pressed like a panini. I ate half and could not eat the other half — no taste and the turkey tasted like some kind of turkey loaf — not BOARs head for sure. I brought the other half home — took the turkey out of the bread and gave it to my dog. Even he would not eat it and he is NOT fussy. Tried this place twice and colleagues from work agree with me too. We won’t be ordering from this location again.

Love the Turkey in the Slaw. They have dozens of sandwiches so it’s always fun to go and get something different. I don’t like the seating or the fact that if you call in your order you still have to wait in line with the people who are placing orders in person. Also, sometimes when you try and call nobody answers the phone to take a togo order. Still a great value for lunch, always under $ 6

Moxie’s Too has the BEST brownies(besides the ones my grandmother used to make) that I’ve ever tasted! If you like brownies that actually take like brownies and have a cake-like texture and are moist and delicious, you HAVE to try one. The customer service is great too! Always friendly and helpful!

A few of us ladies from the office placed a pick-up order over the phone for lunch today. We decided to give it another try after having a few very mediocre previous experiences… First of all, we ordered 3 sandwiches and to my surprise — this is apparently asking too much. The egg salad sandwich was specifically ordered with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. None of those items were on the sandwich, other than the pickles. We called in to let them know, and they only offered to deliver the lettuce, tomato, and onion to make the situation better. That wasn’t exactly an option since it’s the middle of lunchtime. My colleague even explained that her previous order was of poor quality, and that she would not be returning. The response to follow was indifferent and rude(as expected). Bad business move for a sandwich shop located smack in the middle of a business/industrial area! Moving right along, the other two sandwiches were the«say cheese». My only real complaint is that there is nothing special about that. A poor collaboration of shredded iceberg lettuce, diced green peppers and cukes, black olives, and a few bits of different cheeses tucked away inside pressed Cuban bread. Now, I will give credit to the fact that Cuban bread is always a beautiful thing. However, I basically just paid $ 4.59+tax for 6 inches of bread, which is clearly not reasonable. If you are going to name a sandwich«say cheese», I suggest using a more fitting amount of the main ingredient. And I am truly sorry, but I no longer visit any sandwich shop that only uses shredded iceberg lettuce. After such a poor customer service experience, and consistently sub-par sandwiches, we will not be ordering from there again. There are about 15 people in our office that are happy to take their business elsewhere.

Great stop if you are in the mood for a sandwich. Lots of options, fast service, and the price is right. My favorite is the ‘Sloppy Irish’ which is a hot corned beef sandwich smothered with cole slaw. Awesome!

Great little sandwich shop. Prices are pretty good for what you get. It does gets pretty crowded around 11:30 — 1:00 so its usually best to place an order over the phone. It can also be a little hard to find your first time. It is in a little plaza across from the Circle K I have tried almost everything on the menu. If your hungry, get The Boss.

I really like where I work, it has all these little places around that are great for food and unless you work there chances are you will drive right by it. This place is pretty much a sandwich shop that caters to all the business around it so they’re open pretty early and close pretty early, 5/6AM –3PM. Their prices are reasonable compare to the amount of food they give you. They do get pretty busy around lunch time and the place is small so it will feel crowded so I usually get my food to go. I usually get one of their special sandwiches like The Boss and The Hurricane, both are pretty big sandwiches. Out of what they have The Boss is my fav., the one thing that made it stand out to me was the cole slaw they put in it. I thought it would be weird tasting but it turned out quite the opposite. If you don’t like a messy sandwich, you might want to have napkins around b/c the sandwich does have a lot juice that drips pretty easily but hey you can always wash up after your done. If you’re a sandwich/sub fan, give this place a try when you’re close by… but only on weekdays, they’re close on weekends.
