This is a take out place not a restaurant. I wanted to try this place out because it said it has New York style pizzas. I ordered the fried zucchini which turned out to be a combination of fried zucchinis and mozzarella, missing a side of ranch. I also ordered chicken wings in the hottest sauce they have (forgetaboutit) and those were ok. The straw that broke the camel’s back was the pizza! They claim that their pizzas are New York style but perhaps there were from a part of New York that doesn’t know how to make pizzas! I ordered a grandma pie which was supposed to have plum tomatoes (marinara sauce instead) and fresh mozzarella (shredded mozzarella instead). Won’t be back.

Usually OK but not tonight. Called for pickup and ordered a large Little Italy. Arrived after 18 minutes and was told that it wasn’t ready yet. Paid, and come to find out the pizza was on a box on top of the oven after waiting 10 minutes.
OK, no big deal. Got home to find a poor quality pizza. Bottom crust was burned and charred black. Only 5 thin slices of pepperoni on a large???
Next time… Hello Mellow Mushroom or Gondolier!

A few friends and I ordered from here just by picking a random place off Unilocal.So glad we did! Their pizza is amazing!!! We ordered a pie with sausage and mushrooms. It was incredible, close to perfection! It really reminded me of New York pizza! We also ordered a side of meatballs (pretty good), Caesar salad (decent), and calamari (very good). Decent prices. Quick delivery. I would instantly become a regular here if I lived in the area.

This was my 1st time eating here. Got the wings, pizza, garlic knots, and mozzarella sticks. Wings were a 5. The pizza was good not great. We got delivery. They forgot my order of garlic knots. The driver went back and got them. He came right back it was barely 10 min. later, which was cool.

I had to downgrade these guys to 3 stars because I got a pizza this week and it had raw onions on it. Been going to eat at Mellow Mushroom, and we will start to get take out from there as well. Not sure how anyone could let a pizza out with raw onions. I get pizza every week or so, and consistency is important. I might try them again later on but it’s Mellow Mushroom for now, they are more consistant delivering great pizza every time.

Ugh. Decided to give them a shot tonight. Wow one of the worst pizzas ever. Bland toppings and burnt crust that tastes like cardboard. Maybe it was an off night but I can’t say I would give them a second chance. From leaving me on hold for over 4 minutes before taking my order to the pizza arriving late and then the crappy quality this is not the place to go for good pizza in Tampa. I had one slice and literally threw the rest away. Waste of $ 23. Sorry epic fail.

Who would have thought the best pizza I’ve had in months is at a tiny little building between a carwash and a gas station? It’s awesome!!!
Crust– perfect!
Cheese– melty.
Sauce– yummy.
Toppings– plentiful.

Best delivery pizza, wings and pasta if you are staying at Sailport Waterfront Suites!!! Wings are flavorful and big. Pasta is excellent, delivery is always on time and friendly.

8÷25÷15 Tried this place again. I ordered the sausage parm sandwich. I decided to eat it there instead of having it delivered. It came out pipping hot loaded with cheese and crispy bread. For the taste it was good. I felt it was a little bland but once I added some garlic powder, oregano and cheese it was really good. Definitely will order it again.
8÷15÷15 Quick delivery. I ordered the shrimp scampi dinner. The sauce was flavorful but needed a tad bit more seasoning. Also the shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. Kind of disappointing for sure. The garlic bread and salad were delicious. For dessert I ordered the chocolate cake. Wasn’t bad but I’ve had better. No doubt I will be ordering from me again. I think I’ll try the chicken parmesan next and a cannoli. Overall a good experience.

the pizzas are exactly new york style, thin wide and delicious. We ordered a large with half cheese and pepperoni for a family of four, came with a side of wings and a 2 liter for $ 21! would def order from them again.

The pizza is New York style, thin crust and tasted great. What’s not to love about a place that offers free delivery, especially on a rainy Friday night.
Calzone comes in one size only which is perfect for leftovers. Garlic knots were oozing with garlic flavor though sitting in a ton of buttery oil so a bit on the greasy side.
Would definitely order from them again when the carb fiend strikes again.

Very fast, good pizza by the slice choices. Very crispy crust and good flavor. Slices are pretty large. Good value. Constant patrons coming in and ordering to go, and it is 3 in the afternoon, so pretty good little hole in the wall place!

I tried this place on a whim after seeing photos posted here and I am Very glad I did. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s authentic NY pizza but it’s as close as you will find round these parts. The sausage was even the delicious shaved kind. I ordered two large pizzas and wings and was pleased with it all. Delivery tool as long as they stated it would.

As you can see from the recent reviews this place is revamped and ready to serve. I recently tried one of their white pizzas and to my surprise, just as delicious as the regular fare. Freddy and Tony are always a pleasure to greet, and I love that they deliver when we’re in a pinch. This is certainly a guilty pizza pleasure, but their sammiches and chicken parm dinners are really great too. Next up, the Grandma’s Pie. Lucky to have these guys so close to home!

This is a very good NY style Pizza place. The newer location on Sheldon Road isn’t quite as good as the original place in Ybor City, but it’s still WAY above average by Pizza standards in Tampa Bay.
The only thing that prevented this from getting 5 stars is that there is a slight lack of consistency. Some days are better than others and that for me is the different between a very good Pizza place and a great Pizza place.
Some of their other food is also pretty good. And they deliver to my house which is a major positive! I strongly recommend them… any negative reviews are almost certainly from native Floridians and not folks from NY like myself.

Very good pizza and solid service! Promised the pizza within 40 minutes and it was delivered within 30. The extra large is 18″ and is very good. Reasonable prices and a solid product. Skip the negative reviews and give this place a try!

My family really liked this pizza, but I thought it was extremely greasy. Of course, my family is all from NY and I’m from CA, so we like different styles of pizza. We ordered at the restaurant and waited for it to be cooked than took it home and it didn’t take as long as I thought it would, which was a plus, since we were all pretty hungry. We decided not to get the garlic knots, even though they did look really good.
Even though it wasn’t my fav pizza, I would eat here again and try the garlic knots next time. It looks like they do by the slice also, so it’d be good lunch if you live or work close by.

Ordered some take out. Waited for it also so there was no lag time in consumption of cold pizza. We also ordered some salads.
The pizza was missing the best part — sauce. I felt like we were eating dough w cheese, rubbery cheese. Highly disappointed in this place.
I agree with the previous review. It is slim pickings out here in Westchase on authentic NY style pizza.
Only gave 2 stars because atleast the salad was decent. Edible.

One of my favorite local pizzerias has just opened up it’s Westchase location, and I couldn’t be more excited because they use Grande cheese. I walked in tonight during their unofficial opening and chatted it up with the owner, Freddy, for a bit. He advised me the official opening is tomorrow night, so I’ll have to place an order to support these guys. If you’ve eaten at their Ybor and Hyde Park locations, you know they have a good product.
When I was walking out, they offered me a free slice. I brought it home, and tore it up.
Bruno, who was here before, had a good product, but not as good as what these guys offer up.
