I’ve been to this location multiple times and decided to go here last week for lunch. Lunch specials are reasonably priced & there’s the perfect amount of food. I ordered the Korean BBQ Chicken Stir-Fry with steamed rice and really enjoyed the dish. The chicken was crispy and the red peppers, & sweet chili sauce was very appetizing. Even though the server mentioned that it would be spicy, I did have to add some more spice & soy sauce to it. Service was quick! Overall, PF Changs at the Westshore location is a great Chinese fusion option. Their Clearwater location leaves a lot to be desired in terms of service but Westshore is much quicker and smoother. Some of my favorite menu items are the lettuce wraps, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Chang’s Spicy Chicken & of course the Great Wall of Chocolate!

I visited P.F. Changs at Westshore plaza in Tampa, the restaurant is very spacious and it has an open kitchen. I ordered the hot and sour soup it was a bit too vinegary for my taste, awesome spicy dumplings and one of the best Thai lettuce wraps I’ve tried. I also ordered, the pork lo main and it was good and the pad thai combo(with large pieces of shrimp and pork) it was delicious and a huge portion. I tried the general tso chicken, I loved that it was all chicken breast and just enough breading for the sauce to stick, not horrible fried breading cover in sauce. To finish my meal I had the most delicious chocolate cake(the wall) it’s decadent, moist and has chocolate chips all over the top but it’s not overly sweet and I’m always craving it. It’s the total Matilda’s chocolate cake.

Although this is a chain restaurant I do like it. The food is very good. The service is pleasant and a nice ambience. Usually enjoy dinner with friends here.

This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever seen. I’d give zero stars if I could. My appetizer didn’t come out until 1 minute before my main course. The appetizer(pork dumplings) were dry and burnt. My main course(Mongolian beef) took over 30 minutes to come out. So I waited a very long time for terrible food. After contacting the corporate office, I was told it is company policy to simply give away free food rather than fix the issues with the kitchen. McDonald’s has better quality and service than this place.

I reserve 1 star reviews for complete horror stories. This wasn’t but it was a close run thing. The only good part of the meal was the appetizer course. Service was lackluster at best, waitress treated the youngest(21 yo) member of our party as an afterthought, messed up the entrée order and treated all of us as a wearisome chore. None of the flavours were right on entrées, even the one they pushed cuz she forgot to enter it. For a normally-reliable chain, this was a surprising miss.

Not a good experience today. Ordered out. Said it would be ready in 45 mins. Was there waiting an hour and a half. 4 entries. Mongolian beef was dry with no sauce. Husband didnt eat. My sweet n sour chicken was ok. Green beans appetizer was soggy. Missing fortune cookies, for 80.00 and really late, no thanks.

Food was decent. I’ve had better sushi elsewhere. Busy, busy, busy… Waited over an hour to be seated.

Customer service was good but I just can’t pay $ 85 for what’s basically Chinese takeout. The taste of the food was no different than the Chinese takeout place that I like to go to. $ 85 was for 1 California roll, 1 order of chicken lettuce wraps, 1 order of honey chicken, 1 order of shrimp fried rice, 1 sweet tea, 1 Sprite, 1 dessert dish(banana) and 1 order of ginger chicken with broccoli.

This was a spontaneous choice! The man had the PF special spicy chicken with brown rice. The serving was small but filling. He wound up eating some of mine. I ordered the Szechuan beef which was very good. It had the spicy symbol next to it but… maybe they forgot my spice. I also ordered to beef fried rice — good flavor and tender beef. The girl had chicken fried rice and she declared it was tasty, yummy and delicious.(Adjectives are her favorite). The boy had Pad Thai and said it was spicy and savory. Overall good food — service was adequate but our server was not trying to earn a tip for sure. She got one… But I’m a good tipper for good service.

On a quick trip to Tampa we dropped in to PF Changs for a dinner before hitting the road home. The service was excellent! Uur waiter was on top of everything and super friendly, despite the table next to us giving him a lot of grief. The food was hot and tasty and came out right on time. Not much more you can ask for in a restaurant.

You need to start loving & respecting yourself more. This is a far cry from okay. Have a gander inside & you’ll see the droves of self-loathing cows slurpin’ & burpin’. No ma’am. No sir. Turn around & go make those calories count elsewhere! And love yourself, damn it.

Only been to PF Chang’s twice. I would give 4.5 stars if I could. The only negative I could come up with was that the lunch portion size was a little small. I got the Mongolian Beef which was tasty. Also tried a dumpling which was fine. But my favorite part of the meal was dessert — banana spring rolls(six warm, crispy bites of banana served with coconut-pineapple ice cream and drizzled with caramel and vanilla sauces). Delicious! especially that ice cream. I would go back just for that. Yum! Everyone in my group seemed to really enjoy their lunch. Service was also great, very attentive.

I wasn’t expecting authentic Chinese food from PF Chang’s. You wouldn’t expect authentic Italian food from Papa John’s, would you? When I ordered«Korean BBQ Chicken Stir-Fry» even though I wasn’t expecting authentic Korean BBQ, I was hoping it would taste somewhat«Korean.» What I got was more of a spicy ketchup chicken stir-fry. Their bastardized«kimchi» did NOT have one iota of kimchi flavor. I understand this is an Americanized Asian food joint, but it’s deceiving to call tomato ketchup«Korean kimchi.» On a positive note, the restaurant is clean and has nice décor/ambiance. Wait staff is full of energy and friendly.

My wife and in laws chose to eat here because they love Chinese food. It is Americanized, but delicious. My mother in law stated the waiter resembled a model, so that is a positive factor for the ladies. The food was delicious, hot, and large portion sizes, but it lacked spice with dishes showing the fire logo. I chowed down on the Chang’s spicy chicken and it was delicious. It came with a bowl of white rice and chicken smothered in a sweet and sour sauce with the smallest bit of spice you can think of. I asked for red chili paste to spice up the dish and it did just the trick. The coffee was incredibly delicious and came with milk in a small pitcher. My wife wouldn’t stop sneaking sips of the coffee. The dishes were a bit expensive, but very filling. My spicy chicken was $ 15.50. A dinner for 4 was about $ 70 with tip. This is one of the better PF Chang’s I have been too.

Let me just say that I honestly don’t have too much experience with Chinese food outside of the Take-Out realm. Don’t have a concept for what AUTHENTIC Chinese food would look like, so if you find yourself in a similar predicament, I’d suggest the same. That being said, PF Changs is not take out, and it’s probably not the most authentic nor strictly chinese restaurant. But it IS good. The food is consistent with most other Chang’s and very good. I love Chang’s Spicy Chicken, Chicken Noodle Soup, Dumplings, and the lettuce wraps.

I hate it when quality restaurants go downhill. To me PF Chang used to be 4 ½ to 5 stars… I have been so disappointed on the last two visits that I have no need to ever return. So why does a place go from tops to nots? Poor service and horrible quality. So we walk in at 1145 on a Saturday thinking we would have to wait… The place was nearly empty and now I know why. We were told to sit in the bar area because service would be easier for their staff. We were greeted by a server that wanted to socialize with the bar staff rather than wait on tables. We ordered my long ago favorite, Changs Chicken and Mongolian Beef. BTW, don’t expect to get lunch order on Saturday… lunch for two of us was $ 53…seriously! Little wraps came with three small triangles of lettuce, much smaller than the wraps I remember. I would hate to call them chicken lettuce wraps because they were more like water chestnut lettuce wraps. Now the entres… my mongolian beef was slices of fat. The meat was so chewy and gristle it was hardly edible. Changs Chix had changed its flavor. The new slimy chicken and minimal breading had no real flavor. I’ve been to 30 PFChangs around the country and this one should close or make some changes… customer lost.

Disappointed. I should’ve just gone to Pei Wei. The menu had changed since the last time I had been to PF Changs over a year ago, but they said they could still make the pan fried noodles for me. It definitely wasn’t the same dish and it tasted so non-Asian. The reason I liked it is because I like my noodles on the dry side… not too saucy. I told the server this. My noodles came out drenched in the wrong sauce… something that tasted like it was made with powdered beef broth. Just nasty. I did like my green tea and my appetizer. No reason to come back with with all the other great options in the Westshore area. You’ll see me here if someone else forces me… usually for business.

I went to PF Changs for the first time about a week ago. I went with a group of about 12 people so I got to see and try a quite a variety of the food during my visit. For the appetizer I tried Chang’s chicken lettuce wrap. It was pretty flavorful but a little to tangy for my taste. I also tried a little bit of the Salt and Pepper Calamri which tasted good and was very well made. For my main meal i got the Lobster Avocado sushi roll because I will never turn down an opportunity of eat sushi. lol It tasted very fresh and healthy. For the drink, I ordered Chang’s coconut cooler. I wish I can get it by the gallon! It so refreshing, coco-nutty and non-alcoholic! HIGHLY recommend it. This drink ruined all other coconut drinks for me. Some of the people in my table ordered the noodles dishes and it looked a little too… soupy… I personally like it when dry noodles appear dry. The pad thai didn’t really taste like the authentic pad thai that I am use to having. I was too full for dessert but they do have a wide selection.

Bar Review A quick visit while we waited for a movie to start. Snacked on some happy hour items and were pretty satisfied. We ordered the Spike Lemonade or was it black tea? Or both? It was really tasty though. If I stayed longer I would have drank about 4 glasses. The Tuna Tartare was really good, I loved the combination of the crispy friend wonton chips. It’s something I would definitely get again. Another dish we ordered was the lettuce wraps which was good. I’m not too crazy for it, but my friend really enjoyed it. The staffs are pretty cool. Our bartender joked for a bit and it was a successful happy hour visit.

P.F. Chang’s is not the first place I think of when I want Asian food. But it’s still a place I visit a few times a year with friends for dinner. As Steve E. said its dependable, predictable and not bad. That really sums it up for me. I do like their chicken lettuce wrap as well as their northern style spare ribs. They have a decent happy hour menu, but I’m sad to say the ribs aren’t on the happy hour menu anymore. This place can get crowded, especially on the weekend. I do recommend just going on their website and making a reservation. It’s super easy and may help save you from waiting a while for a table. Overall, come as it’s a nice atmosphere to have dinner with friends but if you want some good authentic Asian food, this wouldn’t be the place to go.
