I love coming here! The owners recognize me and my family members everytime we come! Extremely good food! I love the grilled beef with angel hair rice noodle nest! It is the dish i always get! The fried eggrolls are good too! And they are one of the only places around that serve fresh. Coconut juice, with meat. Definately reccomend

One of my fav spots to get phở or any other Vietnamese dish. You can’t go wrong with broken rice with BBQ pork. Service is always on point and the restaurant appears to be very clean.

Phở quyen on hillsborough is the best! Me and my girlfriend eat there at least 3 – 4 times a month. Prices are reasonable and food is great.

I’m no Viet food expert, but I think once you’ve had some quality stuff it’s hard to eat at mediocre phở joints. To me that’s what this place is. I really tried over the years to give this place a chance at more stars. You can get an okay meal here, but it’s worth it to drive 5 minutes to get something better. I really don’t like the feeling I get in here. It doesn’t feel completely clean so whenever I’m asked to eat here I just turn it down. Not every place I eat at is immaculate, but if the place looks jacked I better be getting the taste of a lifetime and consistent service. The place just falls short for me… I do think they serve a purpose for those who aren’t as picky as I am.

This is a very nice authentic Vietnamese restaurant. This is where you want to get the real stuff. During the last time I visited here, about 80% of the customers here appeared to come from Asia which is a good sign. This is located off of Memorial Highway and West Hillsborough Avenue in the Ross Plaza. This restaurant has been around for decades and is well known by the locals here as a good place to dine out. This is a relatively large restaurant with plenty of seating everywhere. It is nicely decorated with cute chandelier light fixtures. The aroma makes you hungrier as you walk in. The wait staff is very friendly and will make sure you’re needs are fulfilled. It does get pretty packed during peak dinner hours due to its popularity. The environment is very family oriented, casual, and comfortable. I’ve only been here a couple of times and each experience has been great. The food has been amazing. They feature a full bar with decent assortment of cocktails to choose from. I liked their Saigon sling! If you happen to be in the area and are craving really good, authentic Vietnamese food, I recommend you give this place a try at least once.

I love this place the food here is pretty good. I almost eat here atleast 1 – 2 times a week. I never thought of giving this place one star rating but recently i ordered a carry out and it took them over an hour to serve my food and the worst part is they didn’t even compensate me for the food. All they did is offer me a soda which i stopped drinking 2 years ago. Though they said sorry to me couple of times but they should have atleast notified me that the food is gonna take a while before taking my order. Wasted an hour. Good food but the service threw me off today

The best and largest real family Vietnamese restaurant in town. The menu is classic Vietnamese cuisine with the usual Phở and Vermicelli dishes along with fried rice and whole fish, etc dishes. Expect to pay $ 7.50 for the average entrée and $ 3 for appetizers(fresh spring rolls, etc). A very close(and slightly more expensive) competitor is Golden Phoenix in Carrollwood on N Dale Mabry. The family and local vibe here just rules when your tired of hipster type joints and prices. I give them 5 stars for about the best quality Vietnamese in Tampa(only La Vie in St Pete is better) along with the authenticity.

For sure the better location, the one in Palm Harbor does not even compare, unfortunately. Great flavor in their phở and the broth in the hu tieu is excellent. Not a lot of noodles I noticed a lot of people asking for extra. The dining area is big, and they keep it clean. Service is varied but the the last time our server was quick and friendly.

Today I had lunch with my cousin Michelle. She ordered the Chicken Curry Noodles & I got the Beef Noodles(aka Bun Bo Hue). My BBH was on point! However the chicken curry noodles wasn’t anything I can rave about. The curry favor us fine but the broth is a little water down. I highly recommend the pork chop broken rice /wonton soup(appetizer portion) /seafood HOTPOT for family meal or BBH.

Service ranges from below to above average depending on your server Price is very affordable compared to most restaurants Atmosphere is bright in the day and dim at night Food is above average but somewhat salty. Overall this place has great food at a good price. Although it is very addicting, be prepared to drink lots of water to counter out the sodium intake.

Phở Quyen is an AMAZING(authentic) Vietnamese restaurant. Value 5 Stars Portions 5 Stars Service 3.5 Stars Décor 3 Stars If you are looking for the BEST vietnamese in a casual environment then this is your spot. I’ve been coming here for years to escape the lowly dread that I am forced to call a life. The owner here is a beautiful 50 year old vietnamese women who looks 28. The food here is absolutely top notch and they really give you a great portion. They have a decent alcohol selection as well. As far as the signature vietnamese drinks, I dont recommend them as the taste is artificial and kind of gross. IFYOURENEWTOVIETNAMESEFOODGETTHISDISH $ 9 — Chicken or Tofu with mixed vegetable and crispy egg noodle.(Get both chkn and tofu) The Phở(vietnamese soup with noodles) here is great too but you really need to know what you’re ordering as the menu is primarily Vietnamese thus some of the menu options can be intimidating and tricky since the primary clientele is Vietnamese. *It’s always a good thing when you see people of that particular race eating at a restaurant of their race !

I have been coming here for several years and have never had anything that wasn’t delicious! My favorite is the bún(either pork or curry chicken). I also love the freshly squeezed limeade. Try the French iced coffee as a nice finish. Service is always prompt and friendly. The décor is average. I’m giving them 5 stars for overall consistently great meals. Best of all… every thing is gluten free!!!

On our way back from the east coast of Florida, I was craving Vietnamese. Phở Quyen is on our way home, and I was pleased that I was able to order online. We got fresh rolls with shrimp and pork(tasty, but nothing special, shrimp vermicelli(delicious!!!) and spicy beef lemongrass soup(also wonderful). The soup was the only item we hadn’t had before and it was fantastic. Super flavorful, and just the right amount of kick(I usually order medium when I go to Asian restaurants, just for reference). Their shrimp is awesome… good quality and really flavorful. Ordering online was so easy, though the menu is more limited, and our food was ready when we got there 20 minutes later. Will be enjoying Phở Quyen again in the near future!

Well, not sure what happened guys. This used to be a reliable, never fail Vietnamese restaurant, but we will probably not be back. My friends always want to come here when they visit– but they said they will look for better restaurant options next year. Our visit this past weekend was a pretty big disappointment. I came in with three friends and our visit from start to finish was pretty horrible. Our server only came by twice– once to take our orders and then at the end for our checks. We never got refills and he never came back to ask us if everything was ok during our meal. The phở I ordered was bad. I am not a very picky phở eater, but this was not good at all. Noodles were hard and not fresh. The meatballs tasted a little off too. Not enjoyable and I did not finish it.

I wouldn’t call myself a connoisseur of Vietnamese food but I can vouch that this restaurant will not disappoint. I either get beef Phở or beef Vermicelli and it’s always consistently good. The atmosphere is casual and dimly lit. Plenty of parking and you won’t have to wait in line to get a table, even on weekends. They give you a generous servings for the price you pay. I’ve never paid more than $ 12, and that’s with a Spring Roll appetizer. An overall solid Vietnamese option in the Town n’ Country side of town.

More like 4.5 stars! This location got a face lift since I’ve been here. Looks very fancy inside, there’s even a grand chandelier in the lobby to attract people to come in. This place was hopping during the lunch hour, almost all booths were taken. Service was good, couple of hiccups but nothing too cray cray. We got the following apps and entrees: * Fresh roll: rice paper filled with pork, greens, scallion, mint and shrimp. Served with peanut sauce. Pork didn’t have much flavor :/ * Spicy lemongrass and beef Phó: this is what I came for, one of my all time favorite dishes served here. Phó is a Vietnamese soup, they simmer the broth for 4 to 5 hrs with warm aromatics like Chinese five spice and cinnamon. They add strips of beef, tendons(I asked them to remove), and flank. Comes with a side of bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeños and lime. HUGEPORTION. * Stir fried rice noodles with tofu: pappardelle style rice noodles cooked with eggs, bean sprouts, carrots, bamboo shoots, napa cabbage, green beans and onions along with fried cubes of tofu. It needed a squeeze of Sriracha to awaken the dish. It was very good. We ended the lunch with Thai tea to go. I love Thai tea, it has a distinct aroma and taste, very refreshing. The only downfall, they added too much sugar. *** Fact: since the tea leaves used in Thai tea are rather expensive, most places use a different(inexpensive) tea and add food coloring to give it’s desirable orange hue.

Phở Quyen is located in the Town N’ Country area. The size of the restaurant is huge just like their menu. I love how they offer a wide variety of different dishes compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. I like to come for lunch but it does get busy around noon. Thankfully, the wait is never too long. I typically order their goi cuon(spring rolls) to start. I love the consistency of their peanut dipping sauce. It’s not super thick or runny, which is sometimes a problem at other places. I personally like more herbs in my goi cuon. Their’s on the other hand doesn’t have as much herbs, instead there is a lot more vermicelli inside. Their phở is good but not the best I’ve ever had. The broth doesn’t have a very in-depth flavor profile. But I do have to say the herbs that accompanies a bowl of phở is plentiful here– they do not skimp on that. There are other dishes on their menu that is tastier. I really enjoy their rice vermicelli bowls with grilled pork and grilled shrimp. The pork has a nice marinade that is a bit sweet but still have that grilled flavor. That’s one of my favorite item to order. Their stir fry entrees are also delicious. They have a good variety of sauces as well as meat selection so if you came everyday of the week you could get something different. The portion size is huge, so you will definitely have leftovers for later. Overall, this is a good place to try various Vietnamese dishes for the Tampa area. The menu is so extensive that there is always something for everyone. If you don’t have time to sit down and enjoy your meal, they also have pick-up available. Their online menu is great! They have pictures, which for you visual people like me, is super helpful and awesome.

Whenever I am in Tampa I stop by Phở Quyen. I am always seated quickly and my order is taken promptly by very attentive wait staff. I usually order the grilled pork over rice vermicelli(bun) and an order of fresh rolls with jasmine ice tea. I usually ask for extra mint with my meal and none of the staff ever tell me no. They also bring out more than a sprig which makes me very happy. The wait staff will fill your drinks repeatedly and I rarely have had to ask for refills. The grilled chicken over rice vermicelli is also very good and has a nice curry flavor to it. The stir fried egg noodles are great and you can pick your protein. I have had the pork, tofu, squid and chicken with it. All of them were perfect! They also have seafood, beef, scallops, mixed veggies, fish balls and a house specialty. The crispy egg noodles are also a good choice with the same protein choices. The phở is always aromatic and served with bean sprouts, basil, hot peppers and a lime. I have never been disappointed with the taste. I rarely am able to finish all my food so it’s like getting an extra meal for later. DONOTCONFUSETHISRESTAURANTWITHTHEONEBYUSF. THISONEISMUCHBETTER!

This Vietnamese place is the best one I have been to. I don’t know the name of what I order because it used to be by the number but if you ask for a number 68 you will not be disappointed by the bowl that arrives with noodles, beef, and chopped up egg rolls. There are a variety of sauces that are a must including sriracha and a couple of mystery sauces with no labels on the bottles(one kind of brownish any other kind of spicy red looking). As an appetizer the spring rolls are absolutely terrific as well. Make sure you order those first and you can use your leftover peanut sauce in your main course. I don’t normally drink coffee after eating however the coffee here is more like a dessert. It is a process made with a simple gadget that is placed on your table, and you watch the concoction come to life. I call it coffee but it is really pure bliss in a cup. I’ve eaten here many times(can you tell?) and I highly recommend.

This my family goes to restaurant and we are frequently here. The food is consistence through out my visits. Other than phở, rice and vermicelli dishes, the have the chef specialty dinner dish. I like the fried frog leg with salt and pepper, cube filet mignon, stuff squid. Today we have order the combination phở, fried frog leg with salt and pepper and a rainbow drink. The food came out very quick and the service is good. This restaurant always fills with people no matter what time you go. The phở soup is not the best in the Bay Area but it good enough. The Beef Combination Noodle Soup or phở is come with Sliced Beef, Flank, Brisket, Tendon, Tripe and Beef Meatball. It served with bean sprouts, basil leaves, lime, and hot peppers, topped scallions and onion. There is a lot items to find in the soup and try to get them out. This a good dish when you catching cold or just to eat. The frog leg is deep fried and marinated in salt and pepper. It serves with a sweet sauce on the side. The leg is very crispy and the deep fried enhance the flavor. We also order a pre-meal drink. The rainbow drink. This drink is very colorful and pleasing to the eyes. It has the Red bean, yellow bean and green jelly, topped with Coconut cream and crushed ice. You have to mix it before you drink or spoon feed. I like this restaurant overall. This is my kid favorite restaurant due to their fried rice. We will be back for many times.
