Pizza Pazza

Love the pizza, try the «drag it through the garden» veggie, so good! People are friendly and great take out. Also, meatball sub was awesome!

I love Pizza Pazza! Their Margarita pizza with red sauce is the best! The staff is always friendly and provides great service. They even deliver on Harbour Island. This is a great local gem, I encourage anyone who hasn’t been here to try it!

Very disappointed. Located at the far end of That’s Amore, there are a few tables and a couple seats at a bar with a few tv’s. Not much more to it. We were just stopping in to get a couple slices. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Took ten minutes for the pizza (I’m guessing to defrost…)
I took a look at the pizza in the box on our walk back and I said it looked like pizza you’d get at a kids baseball game or a theme park. Definitely looked like a cheap frozen pizza. Luckily, Monday night is $ 2 slice night, but even that seems a bit high. It’s too bad the pizza isn’t better, the place may fill up more. There are plenty of people who live nearby.

1 star for great location, 1 star for the friendly staff. That’s about the only good thing I can say about this place. The pizza is BAD, just BAD! You’d be better off buying a frozen pizza. The dough is the worst part as it tastes really undercooked. The cheese and sauce are average at best. I’ve never been more disappointed in a pizza place, especially considering I live right above them! Tried them twice, was equally unimpressed both times. They’re out of their minds to charge those prices for that product. Head downtown to Eddie & Sam’s, now that’s good pizza!

This is my husband and my favorite restaurant in Tampa. The pizza is so good! No it’s not NY pizza, and they don’t claim to be. But it’s just as good. Any kind of pizza you want. By the slice or by the pie. The plain cheese is awesome, the Mediterranean is so freaking good! The subs are giant, so delish. The best part is the staff. They are so nice and make the experience really awesome. And the view of Tampa is spectacular. I absolutely don’t believe that the bad reviews can be real.

This place is awesome! I can’t imagine why people are being nasty and writing horrible reviews! My husband and I go in there and Kevin and his wife Heather are just awesome! They make you feel right at home and have great attitudes. This is a pizzeria inside of a restaurant so they are two different places, DoNT get that confused. They don’t have New York style pizza but they do have awesome PiZZa that blows any other pizza place in Tampa out of the water! Plus there is live music on the weekends and the NFL ticket so you can see any and every game. They are a small family owned restaurant, NOT a chain so they love and caring from private business owners really show!

We order at 10pm thinking this would be OK :(
This was far from OK pizza ! Plz the high school kids at pizza hut, papa Johns and dominos will kill this sorry family owned restaurant !!
This pizza was made from a frozen crust with a can sauce and cheap mozzarella cheese …
I dunno why this place any any positive reviews :(
Save your money

Fiancé went here a few days ago since we live in the area. These people will never get our business again. We tried it out for convenience and sure enough *blah*. It makes me sad. Wish I could help them. Learned how to make a pizza in my uncles pizza place in Brooklyn in the 90’s. I will pray for the people who go here.

There are very few places where you walk in and instantly feel like a regular, the folks at Pizza Pazza have created a wonderful atmosphere to watch a game, and enjoy a slice of pie and a ice cold beer. If you’re ever near harbor island this is the perfect spot for a drink pizza, or meatball sub which is unbelievable (meatballs the size of your fist).

I’ve never been so disappointed or upset with PIZZA. I like frozen pizza, theme park pizza… I could eat pizza 3x per day. Pizza Pazza, what went wrong?

Premanufactured cardboard crust, packaged everything… this pizza made Pizza Hut and other similar chains look unique and authentic and most important… delicious. They taste better, too. It is absolutely absurd that we paid $ 17.00 for this pizza. Pizza Pazza is making a killing. I would have thought that a restaurant who features an Italian singer on Friday evenings could compete with the likes of frozen Stouffer’s and chains such as Pizza Hut and Macaroni Grill. Wrong.
The second star was only because the people working were very nice. So disappointing.

There are not too many places I go by myself and have a drink. Pizza Pazza is that place. Kevin and Heather are wonderful. If you are going in with expectation of a 5 star restaurant, Please relax, It’s a pizza place with good old pub grub to comfort the soul and 5 star people. I usually have the spinach and artichoke pizza which is really tasty. The atmosphere is typical of a sports bar, wide screen TV’s with several games on through out the evening, the noise is at the perfect setting where you can still carry on a conversation. So give it a try when you are on the island. Pizza Pizza where everyone knows your name ! And a great place to bring your kids.

Their pizza is great, but their meatball subs are the best! These are the best meatballs I have ever had. Kevin and the rest of the staff are so much fun. It is a great place to relax at the end of the day.

Moved to Tampa a few months ago from Columbus Ohio where we have a million Pizza shops most of them great to say the least. Having a hard time finding good Non-​Corporate pizza here in Tampa! Unfortunately Pizza Pizza is not one of them by far. This was THE worst pizzas I have ever ate, the crust taste like cardboard and I was trying to figure out what it reminded me of when my son said «this pizza tastes like the pizza at school but the pizza at school is better» bad bad bad! We ate one piece the rest went in the trash and we drove to get Lil Caesars which isn’t great but at least we knew what we was getting!

I’m new to Tampa. Just had this pizza after having Precinct Pizza (located in Channelside across the water) last week. I will be going back to Precinct next time.
I had the meat lovers pizza at both places and I had it delivered both times. both pizzas arrived hot and in fairly short order. Neither pizza was amazing by any means, both were closer to ‘good’ than ‘great’, but I gotta give the edge to Precinct even though it was slightly more expensive than Pizza Pazza. the crust at Pizza Pazza tasted less fresh and I suspected it was made from frozen dough whereas the Precinct had a more authentic taste and seemed like it was made from fresh hand made dough.

I ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza because that is my favorite type of pizza. I was a little surprised that it had bacon and banana peppers on it, but was willing to give it a try. (I would prefer celery on it) :)
The slices are VERY large with 8 slices for a large pizza. This pizza cost me $ 17 which I think it pretty typical for a large pizza.
The owners were so welcoming and the owner’s wife checked on us multiple times. She is super friendly and made us feel like we were old friends.
I found it a little weird that two restaurants are in the same space, but it seemed to work. One half is a pizza joint the other half is a dressy Italian Restaurant (Amore).
Since they share a space, we were able to listen to the live music that Amore has every night. It was a very good band!
We will definitely be back to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and try another pizza! Maybe next time we’ll come to watch a game on one of the TVs.

If you’re looking for something to do on those nights when your friend or husband are like ‘what do you want to do’, ‘i don’t know what do you want to do’, ‘i don’t know what do you want to do’…then this is a great place to just go, grab a pizza and a salad, watch a game, and enjoy a beer, and relax.
Basically, if a pizza/​sports bar can relax me, it’s pretty much miracle! I love going to this place on a random Wed night for pizza. The pizza isn’t like THE MOST amazing pizza IN THE WORLD but it’s good enough to the point where I go often.
The service is always good and the drink selection is always decent.
You should try it!

With due respect to the other reviewers, Digorno makes a much better pizza. The server couldn’t figure out what beer they served. And as it got dark out they didn’t turn the lights on.
Okay, the staff was genuinely friendly. But don’t go expecting a good fresh pizza.

Pizza: 4 stars. Not greasy, not too doughy, just the right amount of sauce. It’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it was very good.
Service: 4 stars. Prompt and attentive.
Ambiance: 5 stars. On the water, great music, candlelight and sports. Extremely welcoming.

Love this place. While living on Harbor Island, the fiancé’ and I frequently visited Pizza Pazza. The food is amazing, Kevin & Heather are a wonderful couple with big hearts. They treat everyone as family and do their best to remember your name :)

Now that we moved to South Tampa, we don’t get to go as often, but every time we’re in the area, we go!

One of the best Pizza’s that I have ever had (and I have had a fair share of Pizzas across the US). Ask the owner to add a little spice. Works wonders !!
