This is the absolute rudest Popeyes I have ever been too! The food was fine but horrible customer service. The woman taking my order never said hello or you’re welcome or acknowledged anytime I spoke to her and when I asked to add something to my order she huffed at me and had me pull back around like I had just committed some crime against her? I needed to make a change to the second order but was afraid to even say anything else because of what her response may have been… and on top of all of that they got the order wrong. Very disappointed.

My husband and I went to this Popeye’s on W. Green Street on 4÷14÷15. We went thru the drive-thru for dinner and ordered an 8-piece chicken dinner with an extra side(costing us almost $ 28). The girl at the drive-thru told us it would be 9 minutes and told us to park in the parking lot, which we did. There was another car waiting for an order in front of the drive thru window. 3 minutes later, a different girl comes out with an order that wasn’t ours and she went back inside with it. 25 minutes later, my husband goes into the building to find out what was taking so long with our order. They kept insisting we already got the order. My husband kept telling them we NEVERGOT the order. The manager even tried to imply we were trying to scam them. The girl that tried to give us the wrong order, looked at them and said«I told you it wasn’t them». Only when my husband told them he was a lawyer, did they give us our order and a «free drink» for the mix-up. NEVERGOTOTHISLOCATION. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFULSERVICE!!!

MMMMMMMM! Popeye’s is my favorite chain chicken frier, and I would recommend it to all local Franciscan friars. Its coating is spicier and chicken juicier to my taste, with better sides & biscuits… and some fine non-chicken options like crawfish. Dirty rice is a fine option if the Health Department does not ban it as sanitationally incorrect. Quick in & out with low prices right at the Armenia exit just north of I-275 It also lends a great aroma to the neighborhood, adding a New Orleans touch to the diverse cuisine offerings and fragrances in West Tampa.
