So I haven’t bought a rug here, but I did get dragged on a rug-shopping adventure recently. The gent working was very friendly, and gave us a quick rundown on the layout of the store. All the rugs have tags with the prices, sizes available, material, country of origin, and if it comes in other colors. There are affordable options, higher end ones, and carpets you can have custom cut and bound for your needs. There were traditional oriental designs, modern prints, and some oddballs that didn’t quite belong. What was kind of cool is this store allows you to put a deposit down and take a rug home for a couple days to see if it works in your space. They also have a fair return policy for the same reason. If I had to buy a rug in the Tampa Bay area, I would hit this place up first. The guy here was way friendlier(and less desperate for a commission) than the one we ran into at the Macy’s furniture place down on Gandy.
