The food and atmosphere were great! I love the layout of the deck on the water. I always sit by the water so I can see the coy fish popping up :)

The food is so delicious. I’ve gotten something different every time I come and have yet to be disappointed. From burgers to wings to ribs to savory salads, Scooters has it all. Best ribs in Tampa!!! If you are looking for a great BBQ joint in the Tampa/​Brandon area, Scooters is the place for you.

Simply amazing! Great food and great service. I had the bourbon full rack of ribs, and dare I say. They were the best I ever had. For an appetizer, I had the spinach dip and the quesadillas which were also very tasty. Fresh ingredients, hot food, and great atmosphere. Come quick and give it a shot!

Amazing BBQ. Best Pulled pork I’ve had since I’ve been back from Tennessee! Staff very friendly. A nice little place to relax and drink a beer.

Holy hell what happened? I’d come here before when it was called «Uncle…“something-er-other’s a couple years ago. The owner then was handing out flyers on one of my last visits there stating that the landlord wasn’t renewing their lease, closing the place down, but keeping everything on the property and pushing them out to just ‘take over the business’. Something of that nature. I swung by late last year and they were doing some renovating and were closed until later (think the guy said October). I hadn’t been back until today.
All that jazz up top? Don’t really know how true that is or if maybe its the same people just with a different name. The building looks almost exactly the same as well as the screened-​in smoker. The menu is pretty different now. There’s a lot less to choose from. Gone are the some of the fries, the sausage that was freaking awesome, there’s only one selection of ribs (two if you count «half» and «full» as choices).
I got a half sweet-​tea/​half lemonade that tasted moldy. Had a faint taste of soda water if sipped, but if taking a big sip — holy Jesus. I asked for a water.
The garlic bread was damp and limp… and that chicken! Tough & Dry! I’ve heard of chicken falling off the bone, but I’ve never heard of the bone falling off with the chicken. It was as terrible as if I’D cooked it. I had my mouth so full of dry chicken I’d completely forgotten about the tea tasting like mold as I took a sip in desperation. Started to think I was on a «Got Milk?» commercial.
The slaw? Great! It really was nice. The beans? Meh — the place before would put big chunks of bacon meat in.
The waitresses were nice though… but damn that chicken and tea.

All outdoor 1 bathroom 1 person at a time, place seems too big for such a small bathroom go wait 15min for. Mostly bikers since the Harley dealer is walking distance which is cool unless you have a car like me.

Great food, awesome location, attentive staff and cold beer. We really enjoyed checking this place out and we’ll be back soon for sure.

Scooters Saloon, what can I say. If you have not been you need to go off the beating path, past the Longhorns and hogs to find a great bar and restaurant nestled in the pines on a little lake. Now I have tried «the best ribs» and I have eaten many places that had «the best ribs» I am here to tell you that Scooters Saloon has THE BEST ribs I have ever had in my life!!! Holy crap, they literally fell off the bone and were nothing less than meat candy! Anthony Bourdain would sit at the bar with have a shot of Jäger and a beer and indulge in these ribs and rant and rave on an episode of No Reservations! On top of being the most amazing ribs, the sides were delightful, the potato wedges were serious and the mac and cheese was on point! The service was tip top! I had dreams since and will be back to indulge in some good BBQ goodness!

Stopped in for a beer on Sunday after running a day of errands. I wasn’t too hungry so I was just going to pick off my friend’s plate. He was talked into ordering the ribs by our bartender. I am not a big BBQ fan but I took one bite of those ribs and ended up eating half of them. Best ribs I’ve ever had and that is not an exaggeration. Also came with two sides. We ordered mac and cheese and potato wedges but they brought cole slaw instead of the wedges. They were nice enough to let us keep the slaw and brought us the wedges. Sides were big portions and very tasty. Great staff and nice outside sitting area. Will definitely be going back to get the ribs.

Totally surprised by this little hidden jewel. Just so happened to be taking a motorcycle safety course at Brandon Harley Davidson and needed to grab a quick lunch. I had the Boss Hogg pulled pork sandwich, not expecting much. How surprised was I to get an outstanding pulled pork sandwich that was reasonable priced. Lots of pork a little slaw and a god sauce. Way better than I’ve had at some close chain joints (you know the one). Oh and the fries, perfection, steak fries cut, so you get a potato taste, not an oil flavor.
I was told they were slow at getting the food out, but I thought it was on time, so not a problem with me.
I may get eat there again tomorrow, the people that were with me said their burgers were excellent, so maybe I try them, but the Q was really good!
It all covered outside dinning and I was already hot, a/​c would have got this joint a 5 star.

Few restaurants really have a good setting but this place deserves the rating is given fantastic food friendly customer service and the atmosphere and the music is phenomenal the food came quick and we had no trouble I’d recommend it to anybody

Sloooooowwww service. 40 minutes for Burger to go and they put cheese on it when I specified no cheese. Went back to work hungry. Not a good experience.

I don’t generally give any business or restaurant 5 stars but this place really deserves it. Although it is an open air style bbq joint the atmosphere here is a little more upscale than what you might find on the side of the road. Awsome food. cold beer great service. Try the ribs and all the fixins.

New restaurant… great food… the roast chicken melts in your mouth and has the best dry rub I’ve ever had. Lunch portions were huge but it was so good I just kept eating. The lunch price was under $ 12 but I would have paid a lot more. Will definitely make sure this is in my must see list for Tampa restaurants in the future.
