Let me just begin by saying that today I was in the mood for something cheap and filling. If that’s what you’re looking for the Shanghai Express will satisfy you. The actual quality of the food, however, was just average. For only 5.49 you can have access to the all-you-can eat buffet. There is a limited selection of meats and other dishes. Most of the food on the buffet was a little old(granted I did eat there in the mid-afternoon). I got the impression that they only replace the food once every last little piece of food was taken from the pan. The rice and lo-mein were dried out, but the sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls were great. The service was fine, and they have a nice little desert bar as well to compliment your buffet. The place itself is cozy, not to small, but not to big. Almost nothing on the walls to look at. If your looking for lots of food for a cheap price then this is your place. After eating here you’ll want to go right to sleep– zzzzzz. Synopsis: Try it for yourself– decent Chinese when your in a pinch
