I love this place! I was referred to Becka by the Flirt Wax salon next door and I’m so glad I found her! I always seem to have bad luck with hair stylists but Becka is simply amazing! She has an awesome demeanor and really took the time to listen to me before she began to work her magic. I was chopping off a pretty good amount of hair and she talked me through it all to make sure I was comfortable with everything. Tiffany washed my hair (the scalp massage was heavenly, by the way) and she chatted with me during the cut. I love these 2 gals! I walked out feeling like a new woman. Their prices are also very reasonable. Five stars!

Love this hair salon, super cute and friendly staff! When I first moved to Tampa I went to 3 different people before I found Becka at Sheart Art South. She really takes the time with consults and makes sure she gives you exactly what you are looking for. She also teaches for Redkin so you know she is a color expert! Highly recommended :)

Very pleased with my first experience here. I was skeptical of Redkin product at first, I;ve been using Lorel Iona and did not want a brassy result to my highlights. I am very pleased with the result I received from the product line. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is laid back not stuffy and efficient, and the hours are perfect for the working woman who needs a later evening appointment. Abigail did my highlights and she was very professional and knowledgeable. I liked they were very up front with pricing which is reasonable and they carry a good line of products. Oh and I got wine and there is wifi!

Shear Art was recommended by a Redken stylist when I moved to South Tampa. I see Becka and she is terrific! Trendy cuts, beautiful color. Equally important, she has a wonderful demeanor which enables her to connect with clients of many age groups. Highly recommend her!
The salon has a minimalist look — modern — and clean. Pleasant popular music is piped throughout (nothing offensive). Because of the open concept you may occasionally hear conversations of other stylists — thankfully, they are friendly and positive. Nothing petty going on here!
Shear Art carries Redken, Pureology, and Kerastase products. I appreciate Becka’s ability to explain what works best with the various products she applies and styling techniques. And if you choose Shear Art as your primary salon, enroll in their «concierge» program which will help you earn points that can be applied toward product purchases!
