Skypoint is such a beautiful building! The condos are gorgeous and each have amazing views. Security is tight here. If you are a guest of a resident and arrive after 7:30, the concierge will need to buzz you in and notify the owner/tenant. In order to even take the elevator upstairs, you will need a key fob to activate the elevators. The amenities here are endless. There is a beautiful pool with a spa and state of the art barbecue grills to utilize on the ninth floor. There is a good sized gym, a pool table, and media room with plenty of seating. There is also large common area room with a multitude of TVs, tables, and seating that you can rent for a private party. Parking is meh. But, it is a high rise, so that is to be expected. The residents are reserved one parking space. I would recommend trying to reserve a space on the lower floors of the garage. Otherwise, you feel like you are on a never ending roller coaster because you are constantly going in circles in a very right space. Unfortunately, guests of residents have to fend for themselves and find parking on the street, a lot, and sometimes even the Poe Garage. This is not fun when it is pouring rain. There is a plethora of bars and restaurants that are walking distance away. Even better, Skypoint is located upstairs from Taps, Anise Global Gastropub, Pizza Fusion and a Mediterranean restaurant that escapes my memory at this time. Four restaurants downstairs to choose from is definitely a bonus, all you need is the take the elevator down! Because it is located in the heart of a thriving downtown Tampa, Skypoint is such great place to live!
