I love the trail found in this park! It’s beautiful to run on or ride a bike on. I live near by & enjoy having this trail available to get exercise! The trail will take you to many destinations so once you get back to the street you can choose which path to follow!

I have been coming to this park for over a couple years now by playing flag football and volunteering for events with my sports social club. This place is where the local AFL team, Tampa Bay Storm practices for their training camp and one of the fields is synthetic turf to simulate what they play indoors at the Amalie Arnset. ena. The location of this sports complex is lierally next door to the tail end of the Veterans Expressway and to I-275. Parking is not an issue as they have PLENTY of spots to park to the baseball, footbal fields. There is a playground for the little kiddos and a tennis court if baseball or football is not your cup of tea. But there is a trail next to the tennis courts where you can hike along the waters to catch a nice glimse of a Floridian sunset. Now as for the bathrooms, umm. they look like they are meant for the youth football teams to utilize because the stall doors are very short. as in if you need to do a #2 then someone can walk on by and without any effort see you sitting on the toilet(very uncomfortable). Other than that, I would recommend this park as this state park is better than most I have been. so far.

A typical sports park with an abundance of fields. Very close to Memorial Highway and I-275, it is very easy to get to. There’s plenty of parking and the fields seem to be in pretty good shape. The bathrooms leave something to be desired, but it sure beats Porta Potties.

It is a sports park. They hold sports events. It is where a lot of the adult sports are held. Tons of fields. Bathrooms are not badly kept for a state park.
