Great happy hour prices. Not a lot of parking, better to take an Über or walk. I love their hot wings! Indoor and outdoor seating.

Here Again… No DJ and all songs skipped on touchtunes by the most ghetto rap ever… Again I’m an NWA fan but this is awful. Started bringing my own headphones and having a silent disco. They complain that their crowd was changing! Duh! Play some better music. Kevin the bartender is super awesome though! Get your music situation together and I’m sure you will have a better crowd. Its soho not south compton

We ended up walking here after brunch in South Tampa. What a cool bar! There is an outside and inside option, games to play, including shuffleboard(my new favorite), and the best part, a JUKEBOX! While I was here in the daytime, I definitely want to see what this place has to offer a night.

Fun chill spot on Howard. I really liked that they had 4 separate bars, so that the line was never long to get a drink. The shuffleboard table is fun. Lots of tv’s. A good, chill place.

A laid back and fun addition to South Tampa! I stopped into Soho Saloon for a Sunday Funday this past weekend. Here are the things I liked about it: 1. Touchtunes. You can never go wrong with a jukebox stocked with good music. 2. Bar games. Pool and shuffleboard. Both a lot of fun. 3. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Depending on the time of year, I differ on whether I like to hang inside or outside. Soho Saloon has options. 4. Quick service and well priced drinks. Nuff said. Fun bar. Not a lot of frills. Not sure if I would try the food, but a great place to hang nonetheless.

Home base… one of the last good places you can drink in peace on a weekday with a great staff that doesn’t judge you solely on your raging alcoholism

For one reason or another, I like this bar. It is located smack dab in the middle of SoHo and the douchebaggery, but the douchetards do not seem to visit this bar too much. It may be because their egos are too large to fit in the front door. SoHo Saloon is a miniscule bar, but it never seems too crowded to me. There is an outdoor patio and also limited seating inside. The bar staff is always friendly. My only disappointment here is the restroom situation. There is one restroom for females(not sure of the males) due to the limited space in the building. This, of course, can be a problem if you are already doing the«bathroom shuffle.» This bar is conveniently located next door to Schakolad Chocolate Factory. So, if you happen to be day drinking, hop next door if you want to treat yourself to some chocolate goodness. I would definitely stop by this bar again.

Speed by to have a beer whole watching the first half of the Bucs game. Great out for area. Full bar. A few beers on draft. Great service. Hole in the wall sort of vibe. Fun place.

Here’s my big complaint with Soho Saloon, we arrived when they first opened and my husband immediately played $ 5 worth of songs on the TouchTunes jukebox. He selected the«play it now» upgrade, so you would think our songs would play soon, right? Nope, not here. Right next to the machine they have posted on the wall a sign that says they have the right to skip any song. Or in our case, all of your songs. We complained after about an hour when our music still hadn’t come on and the bartender kind of blew us off. Honestly, that just made us really annoyed. We stuck around in this bar way too long just waiting for our songs to play. The outside bartender was nice but they guys inside, not so much. We won’t be back to this place.

Very low key place to hang out. Pretty good prices on beer. It’s the anti South Tampa place for the most part and a good laid back hangout. I can’t comment on the food, but they have darts which I love. There are plenty of tv’s to watch the game. Very good hangout place.

Great laid back atmosphere where I can go play pool, darts, gold tee, fooseball and beer pong. Best prices I have found on the strip for craft beers. Can not forget the great food. Love Mondays 30 cent wings night and Tuesday 3 dollar build your burger. I can not forget the have the best deals when Tampa Bay’s sport teams are playing and you can watch it on any of there 10+ tv inside and outside.

Monday nights .30 wings and $ 3 domestics. This is what makes it worth checking out-and I’m not talking Beef O’ Brady wings, I’m talking jumbos with house made sauces. Did I mention they’re 30 cents? Free Pool, the usual sports on HD and the bartenders are great(Hey Chuck and Stacey). I drive from Seminole Heights and skip the usual SoHo meat markets. They have great crafts on tap as well-not a huge selection but solid. A dive bar without the dive. If it were closer, I’d be there all the time.

Very casual and relaxed. You can get to know the owner and bartenders. Great on a Saturday afternoon.

Karaōke and free pool? Hmmmm… After stuffing face nearby I moseyed on over to this here saloon. It doesn’t exactly look like a saloon, and it’s pretty much tucked in the midst of Hyde Park’s «drunkard row». Tony was hosting karaōke there that night, and he’s always great. I noticed the quarter pool table had the ball window removed, so I’d probably assume that they were offering free pool, although I didn’t have the balls to try it during such moving, live power ballads. This place is really new, and hasn’t had a chance to make a name for itself. I did go in the middle of the week and there were a note worthy amount of patrons, but not going out of my way to head back to a dive bar smack in the middle of probably a dozen other notable bars in Hyde Park.

Probably once of the tiniest little bars in all of the SoHo area. We were passing by Tuesday evening and decided to stop in to see what was going on. They have a bar located indoors, and one out. Inside, they have a bar pool table, which was nice and it appeared that pool was free, though we didn’t ask. The house cues seemed to be in pretty good shape, and that was impressive. We almost dared to pick one up and duke it out for a game or two, but decided against it because we wanted to get over to HPC. They also had some karaōke going, and people were actively participating, which was not good news to my ears, but good for business and a few laughs; it was cool. Parking out front was limited, and definitely not designed for the max capacity of the establishment, but what do you expect on South Howard? Chances are that we probably wouldn’t go back unless we were in the area and wanted to play some pool because I’d certainly rather go back here than go to The Rack any day.

This is where the old Soho Oasis was. I’m sure the clientele, the service, and the atmosphere is variable depending on the time and day you visit, just as all the other bars in SoHo are. Located right across the street from the bustling meat market MacDinton’s, this place was pretty dead. The crowd was visibly older than the early 20’s crowd across the street, with no doorman or actually anyone to greet you. As a matter of fact, we walked in the front door, past the lone pool table and juke box, and onto the patio, where we stood next to the bar for about 15 minutes without anyone greeting us or asking for our drink order. So, we huddled around their space heater to stay warm, and then left for another location. Can’t comment on the drinks or food or anything but the atmosphere, which was some sort of country western or something. I mean, if you’re going to go country, I’m sure there’s a market for that, but it just seems really out of place. Not sure what they’re going for there. Just sort of blah. I don’t know how they’ll survive, actually! But after having visited on a Friday night at around 11pm, I will have to say this is a no go for us. I have no desire to visit here again.

I’m either getting old, or everyone is getting young. I went to Soho Saloon for a friend’s birthday(it was our last stop of the night) and I swear, I had to blink a couple of times to make my eyes weren’t deceiving me by placing high schoolers in my midst. You have to be 21 to get in, but if someone told me that everyone in the bar had a fake ID, I would not have been surprised. With the youngins comes obnoxiousness and loudness and stupidity, which you can probably find at any South Tampa bar, but this was way overboard. Add to that the fact that there is a jukebox and one pool table and every surface in here is sticky and gross, and I think I’ll skip this one from here on out.

Exactly what South Tampa needed. A low key neighborhood bar that is anti-douche. Not too crowded, great outdoor space and the staff is really friendly. It would be even better if they sold liquor and not just beer and wine. Looking forward to hanging out there more.

This place feels like a bar in Key West. Great bartenders and awesome music! Only place I can get my country on. Thanks for setting up shop in soho.
