Soho Tan Spa

I was going to give this place 4 stars because of the wait time… but the solo employee working there was busting his butt to service every guest. So 5 stars on his behalf! I wish I would have caught his name because he was very accommodating even with my online coupon ($ 5 a spray tan if you’re a newbie!). FYI — there is also a Groupon out there for several packages. I was able to use my coupon and add an extra $ 5 for the medium tone. If you can handle and flaunt the dark tone it will cost you $ 15 total with the coupon. It is for either Mystic Tan or Versa Spa. I got the Mystic.
The building is very large! I found out they moved a few years ago from a smaller Soho building to a more spacious South Macdill location two doors down from Osteria Natalina. If you’re driving south on Macdill, it is the first shopping center on the right after you go under the Crosstown. Plenty of parking. The equipment is clean and well maintained. The employee was very friendly and explained everything to me in depth to help me get the best spray tan.
The Mystic Tan booth is automated and tells you what position to turn your body. The private rooms are stocked with shower caps, nose plugs, barrier cream, towels and baby wipes to clean your hands/​feet after application. Just after one visit, I am VERY satisfied. If you spray tan, stay out of the rain and don’t shower for at least 4 hours. I will definitely return! The specials are hard to beat.

I had some tan lines that I wanted to get rid of before wearing a sexy cocktail dress so I decided to get my first spray tan. I looked online and saw the good reviews for this location. I drove 30 minutes out of my way, past many other tanning salons and I’m so glad I did. This place is wonderful! For a spray tan virgin, I had a very positive experience. They took the time to explain the process, what to expect and how to take care of it. I didn’t feel rushed and they answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this place.

Love this place. Great staff, clean beds, I just think it’s amazing. I get great color at a great price.

First time at SoHo Tan Spa today and I was highly satisfied! Robert was super friendly and was very knowledgable about packages, beds, etc. Not once did I feel like just a open wallet or pressured to buy packages/​tan sessions (unlike many other places).
As for the beds, they were comfortable and I never got overheated. The only thing I will say though was the darkness of the lighting in the room. I had to use my phone light to find the «ON» button for the bed. No biggie though in my opinion.
Definitely plan on returning and would recommend to anyone!

I am not the sunbed type of guy but I also do not like laying in the sun sweating up a storm. I went to the S Tampa salon to check things out. The staff was very helpful to a newbie. They helped me choose the right bed and lotion since I had no clue what to expect. I was feeling a bit drained that day but after my session, I felt fantastic. I did burn a bit where I missed putting on lotion but no biggie. Foul on my part. Prices appeared to be better than other places I see ads for but this is the first place I have been in to actually view the menu. I know they beat South Beach Tan’s advertised price since I drive by them all the time. I decided to go to Soho Tan due to reviews I have read and they have been established for many years. I went on a Tuesday with my friend and we got half off our tans. Bonus! The place was clean. They have a disco ball on the cealing! Thanks Soho Tan for a great experience! I will be back!

Regular prices are a bit steep but awesome beds! However, You do get what you pay for.
Staff is very friendly and helpful! I usually don’t tan but I wanted a sun kissed look for my wedding… Definitely did the trick and they seem like they take good care of all of the beds and keep the bulbs up to date :-) I had a groupon and it was definitely worth it :-)

Very nice beds, excellent and friendly staff, parking available, can’t really complain about this place. Single sessions are pretty pricey so if you plan on looking for long-​term tanning, get a package. Did the top level bed and it was so nice, but you’ll definitely need the fans on high because that sucker gets hot. Definitely recommend this place.

I absolutely LOVE this place! All of the staff is super friendly and helpful. You never have to wait long to tan when it’s busy and Lou helps you get the most amazing tan. They are also well trained with spray tans. Best place to tan in Tampa, hands down.

It was my first time tanning at a salon, the owner was there and was very helpful. She walked through the steps with me, and chatted like we were friends. I always have an awesome experience when ever I tan here. Love the crew.

Went here with my best friend. The inside is nice with 2 tvs and a disco ball in the middle of the mall. There are couches inside to sit and wait. The place looks really clean and the lady who was working the front desk was fantastic and very friendly.
