I dont know if this is accross the board or not for all staples locations, but… I simply wanted to see if they had a product in store and could hold it until i got there to pick it up that night. I checked online, and they had the product for $ 21 and available now at a few nearby stores, i didn’t want to set up a whole staples online account and give out my credit card info to yet another website, so i used the locator to find the stores number, I called the number and got directed to a robot who talked for about two minutes, then gave me a few options, i chose where to connect me and waited… for 15MINUTES, hung up and tried again… 15 minute wait… hung up… another 5 minute wait and finally an answer!!! I asked, «do you have this product in store for me to pick up tonight?» the employee responded«Yes, its $ 85…» to which i responded, «It’s only $ 21 online and it says you have two in store now, i just need to see if you can hold it…» he tells me «we do not have those in store, the only ones we have are $ 85 and we only have one left! if you found it online I would order it there and have it shipped to the store which will take two days…» so I say«thank you» and spend 15 minutes setting up an account i dont want and finally place my order… for $ 21… and it was ready for pickup 20 minutes later… not really something to complain about if that was what I wanted, what I wanted was for someone to quickly answer the phone and help me understand what I am buying and let me know if it is in store so i can come by and pick it up instead of setting up an account and paying online, but i guess the convenience of actual customer service is lost on this store… Not really sure what happened, why the product was«in store» then«not in store» then«in store» after I ordered it, but I really hope it works and is the right product for what I need because with noone able to find the product or answer my questions i will be REALLYPISSED if i have to return it and go pay too much at Best Buy because at least their employees know whats going on…

I’ve been here a couple of times usually very nice employees and a very nice store has lots of good deals and polite staff unfortunately a woman named Stella has ruined this experience for me today. I walk in to purchase three small items I noticed that 1 of the registers is open I walk up to it and she starts complaining the other people were supposed to be in front of me who weren’t even up at the register yet and continuously apologizes for me being rude and staring at me in an ungrateful way. And almost tossing my receipt at me. If I wanted rude employees I would have just gone to the dollar store.

This is a great, great Staples with polite and professional assistance from a warm staff. I have been coming here for years and after traveling back and forth and visiting many Staples(how did I spend so much there in one tax year?) I have decided that this is my fave branch. The manager always seems to be present ready to trouble shoot. Recently I was able to return a printer bought the day before that was clearly(according to HP) um, defective. They took it back and did not give me the run around like other Staples. For USF students and faculty, this Staples is fantastic.
