I got my hair cut and colored by Chris this past Saturday. He was able to squeeze me in last minute and did a fabulous job. He even styled my hair a bit before leaving, which was awesome.
He’s also very professional but still great at reading people: enabling him to be a great conversationalist during the process.

I have never received service so terrible that it prompted me to create an account simply to review it, but Studio 7 Salon has done it. Being that this was my first time getting my hair cut at a salon my expectations were somewhat higher than Great Clips, where all of my prior haircuts have been, which I don’t think is unreasonable.
Upon entering and seeing the barren salon (which I now understand why) I met Christopher, the sloppy, pretentious douchebag «stylist». After telling him what I wanted done and him barely listening, my girlfriend came over for some innocent observing/​chatting. Christopher asked «is there something I can help you with» and continued to make her feel like crap for bothering to come over and try to be involved in some way.
In regards to the haircut — it was the worst I’ve ever gotten. I specifically said I did not want a razor up my head, but wanted some texture. I then of course proceeded to get a razor up my head. The end result is a razor cut with no detail or anything to suggest he had been «cutting hair since he was 20» as he claimed. Christopher is a complete condescending, untalented hack and should be fired.
I will NEVER go back again. I would take Great Clips any day over the joke of a haircut I received from Christopher. Good luck if you decide to take the chance. You can find your card in the garbage outside Christopher.

Worst service ever! Took my daughter there to get an up-​do and her nails. Ended up redoing her hair at home. Owner tried to charge me double what he quoted me.
Would not waste my time going there. With service like that Im sure this business will not last long.

This salon is located in the Publix shopping center and is the same owners as Lovely Nails (located in surf shack center).
Studio 7 offers a very relaxing atmosphere. Charlie, the owner, takes great pride in his business and does a great job with nails.
The offer the gel nail polish, which I’m a huge fan of.
If you’re looking for a relaxed environment in westchase, give them a try. They’re awesome.
