Subway

Wherever you go, any Subway will be similar in its tasting. The only thing that’s different is the amount of toppings they layer onto your sub. I give this subway 4 stars because they were friendly, they greeted me when I entered. They were fast and efficient in making the sub. Restaurant was clean.

This place is horrible. The young boys inside don’t speak clearly and loud enough to know what their saying.. And they just act like they don’t want to be there. Sandwich was made poorly. The guy heated up my tuna fish without asking me. He didn’t wrap my sandwich in the sandwich wrap with the subway sandwich wrapping paper. In addition, the young man tried to charge me separately for a combination. I asked how is it a combination when your charging full price for each item? Then he says to me which part don’t you understand? Where is this kid from the streets? Why he would say that to a customer is beyond my understanding. Memorial Day no military discount. He says we don’t do that here. He also stated that he worked in several subways. I just shook my head and left. This is what the reviews are for. In short I’ve never paid 7.00 for just the sandwich in any subways I’ve ever been in. Won’t be coming back.

I reviewed this Subway back in October 2010, 2 ½ years ago. I’ve kept coming regularly ever since and wanted to update my review.
All Subways are indeed supposed to be the same, but they are not. I just saw the owner of the place on his knees scrubbing the tiles around the front door with a brush. The owner. This one observation sums up this place. Joe takes great price in a clean, well kept place. The folks behind the counter are friendly and accommodating. And the food is always fresh. Never stale bread, spinach is always very green and the tomatoes very red.
I’ve been to enough Subways that I can tell the difference between one that’s run just to turn a small profit and one that is run as a labor of love. It shows in the little things, like the cleanliness of the bathroom or the extra black olives when you ask for them and they are not stingy, and they don’t look at you like you’ve got four eyes. Like the Subway closest to my house that charged me 25 cents for extra tomatoes. They lost almost 3 years worth of business from me, and I eat hear every single week, sometimes several times a week, or even the same day! This place is great for Weight Watchers. And now they have the $ 3 deals, and excellent values for breakfast.
One usually wouldn’t go a lot out of one’s way to visit a specific Subway. I’m glad this one is relatively close. There’s two closer, but for the extra minute or two in the car I’m assured a clean, pleasant and fresh experience. This Subway is as good as it gets!

Of all of the Subway restaurants near my house, this one is the best. It is always clean, they always are fully stocked with meats, breads, vegetables, and drinks, and the people are nice. They are also very efficient and can get through a long line very quickly. Even when the line is long I don’t worry about having to wait for more than 5 or 10 minutes. It is also the cheaper of the Subways in the area.
