Really awesome little spot to grab some really good authentic tacos and burritos. They have really good sauces too. I really like this place a lot. The food reminds me of Loli’s but it isn’t as crowded at lunch time. The people here are really nice too. I highly recommend checking them out!

I tried the al pastor and lengua tacos and found them to be flavorful traditional style. They have a green squeeze bottle salsa and a punchy red sauce that is flavorful and quite zippy. This is a dicey place with a small the corner and pasted up wall posters of various Mexican celebrities and sights. Sombreros. There is a large side room with a bar stand and three pool tables. The lady told me Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays that room is open and people pool from 4 p.m. until about 2 a.m. I look forward to returning to try the sopes and torta. The pool room has some fun décor too, mannequins, and a. variety of poster art including funny scenes such as Obama serving a platter of tacos and legendary comedians. I did not see Donald Trump. Viva Mexico!!!

The reviews thus far are pretty accurate. The tacos are decent but nothing to write home about. Probably would’ve given them a 4 if not for having a great taco the night before at another place. They are better than Taco Bus, which is a two star place in my book. I tried chicken, carnitas and steak with the steak(asada) being the best of the 3. They just put cilantro and grilled onions on them with limes on the side and a couple hot sauces on the table to choose from. They have various flavors of aguas frescas available; however, the flavors checked off on the poster indicating what they have isn’t necessarily accurate. They didn’t have pineapple at the time so I went with mango, which came in a huge cup, maybe a half gallon. It was good but not as cold as I would’ve liked. It is a standalone restaurant located in the plaza on Himes/Waters(you’ll see a flashing Open sign if they’re open.). The restaurant is decorated with old black and white pictures of Mexican entertainers and such. Small place, about 6 or so tables and another room with pool tables. Order at the cashier(They take cards). Prices are cheap($ 2 for most tacos, $ 2.50 for a couple others). See picture of menu for other items.

Authentic«street style» Mexican tacos. Several varieties. The carnitas are really good. Chicken tacos can be dry. They grill their onions so watch out if you like them raw. Nice helping of cilantro. Sauces are good as well. Better for take-out as it has the taco shop feel to it. I was pleased.

This is a nice mom and pop place to get Mexican food. Unless you know Spanish it’s hard to figure out what the difference between asada, pollo, chorizo etc… I am familiar with what they are but for others who may not it may be confusing to them. The tacos are cheap at $ 2.00 each but they are small so get ready to order a lot of your hungry. I liked the Orange sauce that it came with. This is one of those places to come to when your in the area but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to it. It would be nice if they had a menu besides what is written on there board. Food is good overall and that’s what is important :-)

A stationary food truck in the parking lot of the convenience/gas station on the corner of Armenia and Tampa Bay where Howard merges. Many varieties of tacos listed on truck, but only beef and carnitas available when i got lunch. Good seasoning and price($ 2 each) but hoped for chorizo or al pastor. Plenty of taco options along this stretch, including another food truck about one block north. Will test that one too eventually, but prefer Mi Taqueria or Rincon Mexicano.
