If you’re looking for tacos, this might be the best place. They have more than tacos, but tacos are what you want. $ 2 for regular taco(meat, cilantro, sauce), $ 2.25 for supreme(meat, cabbage, pico, sour cream, etc etc). You can get four HUGE tacos for less than a $ 10. The meat option are pork, pastor, beef, tongue… it’s all classic street taco. They are crazy busy in the evening, and you wait with great anticipation as they make your taco. It’s all outdoor, they have some covered seating, and the love is here. It’s straight forward, no messing around, fresh good taco.

This place is EVIIIIIIIIL! Every time I go to the Asian grocery store on Fletcher, I fight an on-going battle with the smell coming from this orange food truck called Tacos Gone Mobile. Some days, I’m strong and can overcome the smell. Today, it was a losing battle. I had to get me some tacos. Everyone was plating their orders in Spanish, so I was worried I might need to brush off my elementary Spanish skills. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case. Now the guy that took my order is loud. While some people might consider his behavior rude, he seems to be a really good and helpful guy. The tacos are only two bucks a piece, and they have choices like steak, pork, chicken, beef tongue, and chorizo. They also have options like burritos, huarche, menudo, and tortas. I grabbed four tacos of assorted meats, and they came with their homemade red and green sauces. The red had that fuego that you need if you like some heat, but the green sauce was love, smooth and avocado goodness. The tacos were amazing! The pulled pork and the ribeye stood out as especially flavorful, and they are one of the only place in town that I tried with a good chicken taco. I almost shed a tear; finally, I found a well-seasoned chicken taco in town! This place is up there with Lolis as one of the best taco places in town!

The best taco stand in Tampa! This seems like it family owned and ran. The people who run the place are super personable. Serving size is great and the food is genuine and delicious. We go here almost every week now!

My favorite food truck ever! They stay in one place and have the NICEST staff ever… But the best part is their food– mmm! Homemade tortillas, insanely spicy peppers and sauces(if you like it like that P;), and fresh cilantro/veggies!!! It’s cheap, delicious, and I can’t find any other tacos close by that are better– so 5 stars! 8) Also, Kaleisia is right next door so you can wait in line while drinking some boba tea if you want. Hell yeah.

This is my new favorite taco spot! Near Kaleisia on Fletcher Avenue(next plaza over), I have been passing this truck forever and I finally decided to give it a try. The guy that takes your order is really friendly and takes pride in his business. I have tried their tacos supreme($ 2.25), regular tacos($ 2), and tortas($ 6). Taco supremes have more veggies and sour cream while the regular tacos just have cilantro and onions. Here are some of the meats I tried: Carnitas — shredded pork, good taste, standard Chorizo — big chunks of the sausage instead of ground chorizo but I love chorizo so a win for me Lengua — beef tongue, tender but a little drier than I’m used to Al pastor — my favorite! juicy, flavorful pork pieces I had the torta with carne asada(steak) which was filled to the max with meat and veggies and the mayo(I love the mayo on tortas!). I liked how they packed two tacos per box which lets the tacos breathe(lol) and not get squooshed. I had a total of 3 to go boxes for 4 tacos and a torta. Each box comes with awesome grilled onions and a green pepper. I also really like their red salsa and the green guacamole-like sauce. This place is pretty authentic and I constantly saw people rolling up to pick up their orders. I would suggest calling in if you already know what you want. Also, check to make sure their credit card machine is working. The last time I went, their machine was down and I didn’t have cash on me so I missed out on awesome tacos :(

Awesome street tacos served extremely hot. They keep it simple with a variety of meats, corn tortillas, cilantro, onions, and hot sauce. It simple food but done well. The one thing they could improve upon is preparing the cilantro — there are way too many stems.

TACOS5EVA! Who doesn’t love a good taco? If you don’t, sure aren’t my friend nor do I take kindly to your kind. Just kidding, I’ll probably still like you :) Anywho, driving down fletcher every day sparked my interest in the Taco stand that sits right out near Kaleisia(an amazing tea shop). I never actually stopped until a friend of mine said it was the best tacos she has ever had and the girl knows her tacos. The way you know it’s legit is because there is always a line and within the line are mostly people of which I assume look like they are of latin origins. I took that as another great sign that these tacos might be the real deal. Let me just put it out there, I can’t stop coming to this place. I have showed and told so many people about this taco stand that it should definitely not be going out of business soon. So the tacos. When you go to order there are two styles of tacos, regular and supreme. My understanding is basically with or without veggies. The supreme comes with tomatoes, sour crème, onions, cabbage, cilantro, lime, and a green chili pepper. Once you pick your style you pick the type of meat, which includes chorizo(spicy spanish seasoned sausage), steak, chicken, shredded pork and two other options that I forgot. The taste just seems so authentic and real that you know its the best tacos you will ever have. The tacos are also double wrapped so they don’t fall apart and get soggy which is awesome! They have other options, but my favorite is the taco’s because it is literally $ 2.50 per taco and you get full with 2. SOCHEAP! If you’re balling on a budget then this place is for you. I tried my friend’s quesadilla’s once, which were pretty good too, but my heart belongs with the tacos. Please do give this place a chance!

Have always wanted to give it a try and finally did. Was not disappointed! The steak and chicken tacos were excellent. The seasonings were so delicious and authentic. Also tried the steak torta which was great! Definitely coming back soon…

Low key, affordable and delicious! Very casually located in the parking lot across from Kaleisia Tea Lounge, this place has outdoor tables under an awning where you can enjoy your tacos. The menu is simple but the choices are great from lengua to carnitas to asada! You can have you tacos simple or supremo and remember to wash it down with a coke, the real stuff with cane sugar!

Awesome legit taco place. They have my favorite sodas from Mexico. They offer outdoor seating next to their bus and are very friendly. Prices are low. It’s great for everyone :)

This place is great. I tried it on a whim, but I’ve been coming back ever since. I usually get the quesadilla. It’s great. So cheesey and meaty. I love it. If you’re in the area check it out!

The line at the mainstream taco joint was packed so I found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I received fast and friendly service, and was pleasantly surprised that it cost only $ 7 for 3 tacos supreme. Both beef and chorizo tacos were generously stuffed with zesty meat and veggie fillings, and the sauteed onions and serrano pepper were a nice touch. The guac sauce has a good kick. I’ll be back soon for burritos.

This might be the best spot for Tacos in Tampa. Tried the burrito and steak tacos, both were outstanding. I recommend grabbing yourself a Green tea at Kalesia which is next door and getting yourself a taco at Gone mobile, that’s satisfaction guaranteed, trust me.

Surprisingly good! I was getting tea from Kaleisia and was on my way to try a competitor’s taco’s…the one that has the word«son» in their name, when all of a sudden I noticed the ‘Tacos Gone Mobile’ truck in the next parking log over. Laziness creeped into my bones and I decided to settle for the truck next door. The menu isn’t overwhelming at all. I went for the taco supreme with carne asada and a carne asada huarache to go. I went back to Kaleisia to get my tea, came back, picked up my order and went home without checking the boxes. I might have given this place a 5 star review, however, my taco supremes(I ordered 4 of them for my family) were not supreme. They only had meat, cabbage and cilantro. Disappointed because I paid for the supreme versions. I’m not going to throw them completely ‘under the bus’ because they were delish! The huarache was damn good too. Honestly, eating these tacos«clean» was probably a good thing because I could really taste the seasoning in the carne asada. Now, I wasn’t sure what to expect because I like their competitor… the one with the word«bus» in their name a lot. I order carne asada dishes from the competitor as well. Tacos Gone Mobile has a different seasoning on their meat… and I like that. It’s like having Mami’s spaghetti and going to a friends house and liking their mom’s spaghetti too, but it don’t taste like Mami’s. It’s nice to have a change in flavor as long as the food is delicious! I’ll go back if it’s open and in the parking lot over the next time I stop into Kaleisia.

This is a great little taco place. Super affordable and delicious. I feel bad I haven’t checked in as much as I have gone because I have been here about 6 or 7 times. Carne Asada Taco Supreme!

I came here once for lunch and ordered a pollo taco and a pork al pastor taco. The food was fresh and had all the right toppings I would expect in a taco. I didn’t find it to be particularly flavorful and found the pork and chicken to be kind of tough.

Tacos Gone Mobile is an awesome Mexican food truck located in the plaza right next to Kaleisia Tea Lounge. I am still new to the area, but so far this is the best Mexican food I have had. Also, it is so cheap! Three tacos for $ 6! My favorite is the carnitas, but the chorizo is also great. Avoid the chicken — the least flavorful. Try their guacamole sauce — spicy and delicious.
