I have to agree with Brittney. This guy was horrible. Hands werent intuitive. I asked him to lighten up and he didn’t. I mean when someone is cringing or their muscles are seizing up. You would think someone would lighten up. this was like a year and a half ago. I had no idea he had a Unilocal because why would you if you were so bad at what you do? Anyway. Stay away. Don’t pay your hard earned money just to get a horrible massage. Painful and annoying is the best way I could put it.

I’m a fit 39 year old that runs, does spin and lifts weights. I’ve always had a hard time finding someone that could provide adequate therapeutic, deep tissue type massages… …’till I found Corey.
Corey has been my «go to» massage therapist for the past two years and I’ve always had great results stemming from my visits to him. I would say — based only on MY experience alone — that if you’re the athletic type (a runner, triathlete, cross-​fit enthusiast, cyclist, etc., etc., etc.) and need the very specific type of relief from the soreness, aches, knots that come about from these types of strenuous activities, then Corey is really one of the best people to go to in Tampa.
I have read one negative review on this site and can honestly say that it seems to me to be very, very, very out of line with my experience with him over the past two years. Take that for what it’s worth…

I had gone to several massage therapist before I started going to Cory. I can absolutely say that he is by far the best LMT in the Tampa Bay area. I don’t even need to tell him where I’m hurting because he always finds where I need to work during the massage. He uses the necessary pressure to give the best therapeutic massage and adjust that pressure when needed. I used to have low back pain frequently but since I’ve started going to Cory that pain has not returned and if I pull something, his massage always helps the pain go away.
His office is professional, clean and convenient. I frequently refer friends and family to him and they’ve all thanked me for the recommendation.

I was recommended Cory and Tampapromassage and I am very glad that I decided to make an appointment.
The appointment process was very easy — you can even make an appointment via the web, which I find to be very convenient.
Cory was ready promptly on time and made me feel welcome and relaxed immediately. The massage room smelled lightly of herbal oils (not perfumes, thank god!), which got me into the relaxation mindset right away.
At the time of my visit, I was having quite a bit of mid and lower back pain and was sure that there was no way that my session would be able to address that immediately because I had been dealing with it for awhile. I know all experiences are different for each person, but I have to say that I have never had that kind of healing experience in one session before — Cory is very skilled, intuitive, and respectful. I can’t recommend Tampapromassage more. Please do yourself a favor and check it out.

If I could give negative stars I would. The entire experience was awkward, painful, unprofessional, and just bad. The other negative reviews that were on here were deleted and I’m sure this one will be as well, but I had to at least try to give a fare warning to other Unilocalers. Don’t go here, you’ll regret it. Trust me.

Cory does an incredible job with a deep tissue massage. He has a great office for the massage in private, with soft music and candles. Very relaxing and a wonderful touch.

Best in the Bay Area! The 35 minute drive is well worth it for me. I have always felt comfortable the second I walk in the door. Three years ago I found out I have three herniated disks in my neck. After many «massages» from the chiropractors office and physical therapy, I gave TampaProMassage a try. Three years later, I always know who to call when I have back issues or just need a «pamper me» day. Professionalism at it’s best.

The feel of the place helps you relax. His touch was almost magically finding the areas of tension and stress. When I left I knew I was short changing myself by not doing this for myself more often. I recommend him totally.
