TGI Fridays

Just walked into this TGI location where I received absolutely no greeting. We proceeded to seat ourselves at a tables by the bar, which was dirty but one of the bussers cleaned off. We sat there with no menus, absolutely no acknowledgement from the bar, or any of the servers that were working. We sat for about 10 mins with no greeting of any kind. We left, extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

It’s been almost 6 years since I tried TGIF and it’s been almost 20 years for my partner. The place wasn’t packed for a Saturday night around 8p. We were sat at a booth upon entering, greeted by a friendly hostess. The waiter Andrew greeted us with a smile and took the drink orders along with a the App we picked out. The App was delicious. The food we ordered was also delicious. This visit to TGIF was very good. The service was friendly and the food was delicious.

Endless apps sounds great. The service at this location is terrible. It smells funny. I asked to speak to a manager my last visit and one never showed. I could go on but I will stop. I use to really enjoy Friday’s I think those days are done.

This was my first time to this particular location. It was an enjoyable experience. I ordered the Jack Daniels baby back ribs with fries, and it was right on point. My daughter ordered the fried shrimp which she gave a 5 out of 10. It was a very typical TGIF experience. Our waitress was great. I have no complaints. We even hung around for about 45 minutes after eating because we were waiting to go see a movie. They let us sit in peace while we ordered nothing. I think there was a live band playing later in the evening. We heard music when we came to pick up our car! I’ll be back!

Unfortunately the food has gone down hill here. It’s in a great location by the movie theater so should be better but unfortunately it hasn’t measured up.

Wait was long even though many tables empty & all they needed was cleaning, once seated we ordered drinks & apps, came out room temp, the sliders came out hot & was the only good thing. The restrooms were filthy. Maybe instead of the manager walking around in circles he should bus tables, make sure food is brought out hot or clean the bathroom.

I wish that I could give a place zero stars. This food was horrible. Talk about over priced and under performed. I’m pretty sure that my burger was a frozen bubba burger, my wife got a club sandwich that looked like it had been sitting out for awhile (tasted like had been as well), and my kids got the kids pasta that was the smallest portion I have ever seen. All this and my bill is still 35 $??? Are you kidding me! I’m not opposed to paying for food but I do expect to get a little bang for my buck.

Let me begin with the fact that we just drove in to town after a 6 hour car ride. That being said, we were starving to say the least. We’re staying at the Holiday Inn around the corner and thought that this Friday’s would be a good idea. WRONG!!! We accidentally walked in to the side entrance and the ONLY friendly person, a waitress, kindly directed us to the front of the house to be seated. My husband and I have been in the business a combined 15+ years. There was a couple waiting to be seated and 3 hostesses running frantic trying to figure out where to seat the couple. All three of the hostesses; one Asian girl with long hair and glasses, a plain looking girl with long wavy blonde hair and a boy with brown curly top short hair; walked by us without even acknowledging us! After a few minutes and another walk by, I said, «Excuse me, but we haven’t been acknowledged yet». The plain Jane blonde says (very rudely), «Um, we’re trying to seat these people first». No smile, no «hello, we’ll be with you in a minute»! Not only was she rude to me, but then the boy was equally rude to my husband! Seriously?! It takes THREE people to seat a two top??? Needless to say we (a four top), walked out and went across the street to Ruby Tuesday where we were greeted with not one but TWO smiles! DO NOT GO TO THIS FRIDAY’s!!! If I could rate this place with NO STARS I would have!

Stopped in for a late lunch. We had a party of four. There were probably 15 patrons in the restaurant. The hostess (the problem) asked if we wanted a table. We asked for a booth (about dozen empty). She came back and told us it would be a wait. For what? So sorry we were such an inconvenience. The servers can thank the hostess for running off this party of four. We’ll never be back again. We wouldn’t want to put you out of your way. I wish I could give it a ¼ star. Yeah… it was that bad. We were there on 1÷23÷16 at 2:15 pm. Oh, I see they close at 3:00. Ahhh… Now I get it. Still… don’t bother.

Good, fast lunch service and nice, covered, dog friendly patio. Try the new bourbon barrel chicken off the lighter menu; it’s probably one of my all time favorite lower calorie dishes from any restaurant. The grilled wood plate flavor is excellent!

I sat here had a drink sat some more had a water and ordered another sangria. I could not find anything on the menu I wanted except maybe a salad drinks were good but then the second one I had was different tasting than the first. When I told the waitress she said well maybe you never had ours .I’M LIKE MAM I JUST HAD ONE she didn’t even remember my order. I still tipped it seem like she was having one of those days didn’t want to add to it.

I’ve been to plenty of TGI Fridays. This is by far the worst. The service was OK. Our server came by more often then most wait staff, however kept forgetting what we asked for.
The food was extremely cold. We could tell ugly sat awhile before it was served. Which is weird because we got our food right away.
The food was NOT good. Extremely greasy. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Nasty. I hardly ever dislike food or complain at a restaraunt but this was horrible food!
Like they used mcdonalds quality chicken and microwaved it. I couldnt eat what was on my plate and left hungry and disappointed.

I was about to write a bad review, but after i saw how many bad reviews this place got-​i thought mine wont help. Howver.
We are typical dinks and visiting this place for a drink and very ocasional snack, never more sirious than apetizer (no judgement please, this new Tampa is like for dead ppl, there are NO PLACES TO GO). They had a renovation. Monies well spent, cleaner look, blah blah blah. Until you start hearing everyone on the floor like they are talking in your ear!!! So they galssed/​stoned all entire place and forgot about ACCUSTICS!!!
Dammit! What a loss!?!
We left first time cuz there was a xtremely loud party of 4. Second time we left after one drink again! Because od some loud idiots behind us. Then i finally put two and two together: its not us! You hear absolutely everyone in this place because of the sound bouncing off the glass window and stone and whatever else is in this new place.
Need to find other place for a drink once a week… dammit

First time with the new menu. They just put a new package on it and charge double. Same ol crappy food. Will not return.

I joined my sister and nephew for dinner (early), and it may have ruined my weekend.
I’ll start by saying we had a very nice and attentive server — she was great! However, once the food started arriving the good vibes fell silent.
My nephew’s mini-​burgers were okay. Not sure those can be messed up.
My sister and I both opted for the 6oz steaks. Those can and were messed up. My medium rare steak was seared nearly black on the outside while mushy & bloody inside — a feat most experienced cooks may find hard to achieve. My sister’s medium well was more of a valid attempt at medium rare. We HATE being «those people» and sending food back, but in this case it was justified. We waited nearly 15min for our food to re-​arrive which is average, I think. At that time the manager brought out the food and asked us to cut into the mystery meat to check the cook. I’ll admit, the first cut seemed «okay». After a few cuts, though, mine was back to mushy & bloody while my sisters was a charred mess. I guess it may be protocol, but our side dishes were clearly left on the plate and simply set under a heat lamp or reheated while our steaks were «corrected». I am certain, however, that it is not typical to deliver shriveled mozzarella and spinach to a customer.
This was the 3^rd strike for this location, (previous horrible service followed by a dismal take out fiasco) so regardless of it being «kid’s choice» night on Fridays, our choice will never be Friday’s again!

Amazing time here, arriving at opening my mom and i had the whole place to ourselves. The food and drinks were delicious.

Food was pricy for the amount served. Nothing special ! Options in Kids menu are limited. I did not believe the reviews untill I got there!

Food took FOREVER and was NOT good! Go to Chicfila across the street! The chicken on my salad was cold. It looked like the janitor brought the food out. Even my son’s French fries tasted weird. He even said his burger tasted bad. Waitress was good, but that is the end of the“good” part of this meal. It is noon on a Saturday and I have a very odd after taste in my mouth and the place only has about 5 occupied tables. NEVER AGAIN!

Horrible service and horrible (oddly salty for some reason) mojitos. This was not my choice of venue, but 4 friends were out there so what the heck, right? Wrong — never again to this Fridays.
