Fresh cooked, good food, and healthy options. I’m always looking for healthy options for lunch in 33634, close to where I work. I ate here today and had a grilled chicken salad. Chicken was grilled fresh and salad was fresh as well. Iced tea seemed like it was also fresh brewed, always plus. Menu has some good options for breakfast so I will probably have to come back and try. Check it out for fresh healthy food. Employees are also very kind.

Good local place that’s hidden away on a little corner! They offer a little bit of everything. Can’t go wrong with ordering anything off the menu. And very reasonable prices, considering the portions you get. It’s a quiet place, with a feel-good atmosphere. If you’ve never been, it’s definitely worth a try. Look forward to going back soon.

A hidden gem! Great service and inexpensive delicious food. I had the Gyro and the greek salad both equally delicious! The portions are super satisfying. Will definitely be coming back.

Pleasantly surprised by this café that looks so unassuming from the outside. The food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. I had a Gyro and all the ingredients were fantastic. The person I was with had a Greek salad that looked amazing and she said was tasty. I see myself becoming a regular.

Found this place by accident, well last minute change of heart because of Unilocal! I’m very happy to have stopped by, after an early flight in from Texas! I wanted breakfast, however a variety of items to choose from on the lunch menu as well! Ordered the eggs, bacon and Cuban bread! I know they are simple, «breakfast» foods that are tough to mess up… however service is exceptionally good, fast, and clean! Great home fries, and the Cuban bread soft and buttery!!! Recommend to just give it a try, especially if you’re needing to get in and out!!! Will definitely come back for more!

Nothing fancy mom & pop kinda place. Food came out hot. Sausage links are the big fat kind so thumps up. Hash a little too salty. Pork & rice was cook perfect w great light flavor. Enjoyed it

Another independent small eatery. I have only had the omlets & they were always fair, with a good amount of ingredients. Many smaller establishments make dry, scrambled omlets, not true here you get far more than you pay for. Whatever your breakfast or lunch preferences, I am sure you will be pleased with them at the ympic Café. It has been in business for many years & the staff reflects customer satisfaction. A great independent to try for breakfast or lunch. What’s a girl to do? Yup, gotta love those independents that keep you coming back for more!

We decided to give breakfast a try based on the positive reviews. I ordered my egg over medium and it was barely over easy. Husband’s pancake was not fully cooked through; center was uncooked pancake batter. Maybe the cook was having an off day. The coffee was good.

Excellent combo of a classic diner and Greek restaurant. The blackening mix here(available on fish, chicken, etc) is a little different than most places in the best possible way! Friendly and courteous staff, a regular stop in our lunch rotation since we found it.

Small café-restaurant inconspicuously located across the street from the airport off W Hillsborough. You can easily miss it if you’re not looking for it. I’m a big fan of brunch because I’m not an early riser yet still love breakfast. I can eat it anytime of the day! Today I was heading to Nicki’s but saw this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. Overall opinion: pretty good. Speaking solely on the breakfast menu, here is why you should give this place a try: a) big fluffy pancakes — if you can finish two of them then you must be really hungry b) nice sized sausage patties c) very reasonably prized including the à la carte items d) nice casual atmosphere with quick + good service As Michelle said in an earlier review, it’s a «solid place to eat if you happen to be in West Tampa.» The tables have glass countertops and the menus are placed underneath so you have easily see them. Oh, and they offer free Wi-Fi as as well, which is a nice added plus that many businesses do not think about :-)

This is a solid place to eat if you happen to be in West Tampa and need a quick lunch. You seat yourself, and the menus are the placemats. The waitress was prompt to take my drink order, and she was fast and attentive the whole rest of the time. I had the avgolemeno soup, and it was okay. I think it had a little too much oregano. But it was creamy and lemony, so I can’t complain too much. Then I had the hot pastrami sandwich on toasted rye. Heavenly. Honestly, it was as good as I’ve had in Florida. I’m happy that I’ve found a place in Tampa for my pastrami fix.

The Olympic Café is a great little diner located along Hillsborough Avenue, just east of the Veteran’s Expressway, and in between Anderson Road and Hoover Boulevard. This breakfast and lunch spot is located on the end of a small strip mal, directly across the road from the Tampa Airport runways. The café specializes in traditional American diner food with Greek specialties which is a favorite of mine. The breakfast menu offers a variety of breakfast sandwiches, omelets, standard breakfast plates with eggs, pancakes, French toast, and breakfast meats. There’s also a section of the breakfast menu called Odds & Ends which has bagels, Cuban toast, grits, home fries, corned beef hash, and oatmeal. Most everything on the breakfast menu is well under $ 7 which makes for a very affordable eye-opener meal. For lunch you can choose from a mix of cold deli sandwiches, Spanish pork with rice & beans, homemade soups and salads, grilled cheese, Cubans, cheese steaks, burgers, gyros, and seafood baskets. For sides they have yellow rice & black beans, French fries, potato salad, and so on. I was there for lunch on the weekend following some shopping next door at Furniture Distribution Center. Howie and Victoria from FDC had just eaten there for breakfast, and they were raving about the size of the blueberry pancakes. I walked the few steps to the front door of the Olympic Café and stepped into a very clean and cheery little eatery. There was one lady working in the dining room, and a second back in the kitchen. The menus were printed on placemats which were covered by a sheet of glass on top of the table. Lunch was a cup of very tasty Greek Lemon Chicken Avgolemono soup, followed by a gyro with a side of fries. The soup was homemade and quite flavorful. The gyro meat was hot and freshly sliced, and the pita was stuffed with slices of tomatoes, onions, dill pickles(that was a first!), and finished with a generous shot of homemade tzatziki sauce. The fries were fresh out of the fryer which is always a great sign. Good food, big portions, and a fair price. Add this to your must visit list if you’re in the area.

I came here at 7am to get my brekkie before picking up my car at the nearby shop. The service was quite friendly and my eggs and bacon were made properly. The price($ 4.25) was incredibly low so I have no complaints at all. Add in free WiFi and I just might eat here every morning if my car continues to provide repeated epic fails. You might say it is hard to mess up eggs and bacon but they did it right! Thanks!

I visit the location because it’s close to my job and the wait staff is nice. They offer breakfast and lunch items — Greek and American food.

Let’s get this out of the way real quick. Had lunch with wife. This is possibly the worst meal we’ve ever had. How does this place stay open? It started out bad.- 2 Diet cokes please. Sorry out of Diet Coke. O kkkkkkkk. 2 Unsweetened tea. —-Ice water, no taste tea. Order Please, wife orders a corned beef sandwich, Sorry, out of corned beef. We should have left right then. Wife settled for a Greek salad, $ 6.25 and I ordered the beef teriyaki lunch special, $ 6.75. Out comes the food. Mine first. Beef teriyaki is a bowl of cooked rice in some kind of sauce with bits and pieces of dried up steak sprinkled on top, with some chopped green onion. This was not teriyaki in any way, shape or form. It tasted like it was sprinkled in vinegar. Greek salad was swimming in oil, vinegar and water. Just 2 horrible messes. Olympic was recommended to me by co-worker friends, I’m rethinking who’s opinions I value after this.

This place deserves 5 stars. The Greek Salad is out of this world, and I’ve never found another one like it. This place is definitely something I miss about Tampa. Also, the owner came out and tried to console my crying daughter with a cookie, and the staff is always very pleasant.

Amazing food. Try the Dona Omelette and if you are lucky the Bananas Foster French Toast is on the daily specials. Great portions. Great find! Highly recommended!

Been coming here for breakfast lately. Getting their veggie omelet with cheese, comes with hash or grits and wheat/white toast or biscuit(I think there might be an extra charge on this). I usually can’t finish the whole thing in one sitting, I end up eating it throughout the day. So order that and large sweet tea I usually end up having breakfast and lunch.
