Why 5 Stars? Called in to get a quote and make sure the tires were in stock prior to setting an appointment. Not sure what position «Ken» holds at this location but he was awesome.
When arriving Ken was also the person that attended to me, he carried the same customer service skills face to face as he did over the phone. Dropped the keys off and told him I’d be in the area grabbing lunch while my car was being serviced. He was kind enough to warn me about recent customer complaints at the local Steak and Shake, I should have taken his advise.
When the car was ready, the mechanic advised me of other maintenance that needed to be attended to (as expected) both high priority and low to avoid additional and unnecessary damage that can be caused by prolonging routine replacement parts.
I’ll definitely continue my business here!

They have a competitor up the road who I won’t mention. The difference is night and day. If you are tired of being taken for a ride, go to these guys. I’ve been looking for a mechanic for a while now because my current awesome guy is retiring. I’m sorry to see him go, but now I feel a little better about it.

I went in to get the air leak in my tires fixed, they reassured me several times that there was no leak in my tires and that it was my sensor that was wrong. I explained to them that my sensor worked fine, as I’ve replaced the air pressure in my tires using a 3^rd party tool that also tells me how much psi is in my tires, and the values in my car’s gauge and the values in the tool always match. The guy said he wouldn’t investigate the air leak in my tires unless I bought his sensor. After purchasing the $ 200+ sensor, the guy reveals to me that the machine they need to calibrate the sensor to work correctly is broken, and has been out of service for a month. Now my sensor REALLY doesn’t work, and it’s brand new. This location is more concerned with earning their commision and meeting their sales quota’s more than they are about helping their customers. I went to TiresPlus to get the leak in my Tires fixed, not to be sold a product I didn’t need, in order to be given permission to have my tires fixed.

Took my car in for an oil change and was asked if I wanted a tire rotation. Added the tire rotation and then was called to tell me they found a nail in one tire and did I want a tire repair. I agreed to the tire repair. Drove home during rush hour at slow speed and less than 5 mi.
The next morning, My daughter was driving down Dale Mabry and noted the tire did not feel right. A few minutes later, a stranger stopped her at a light to inform her that her lug nuts were falling out.
I called Tires Plus and they instructed me to call a tow service that they would cover. They paid the tow and replaced the lost lug nuts and offered me a free standard oil change on my next visit. I found this rather insulting as I had just paid $ 85 for a synthetic oil change plus the cost of the rotation and repair
For a business that’s primarily a tire shop, not tightening the lug nuts is a major error. It put me and my family at high risk of serious accident and/​or car damage.
Fortunately no one was hurt and they say my car and the wheel checked out fine. However I can never return to a business that fails to complete the MOST BASIC AND MOST IMPORTANT part of a tire rotation/​repair. A simple «sorry and free standard oil change» shows little respect for their customer safety.

I originally stopped by this location a few days ago to have the guys put air in my tires because I’m nervous filling them up. My cousin actually died when fill in up tractor trailer tires hence my anxiety. The sales guy did NOT criticize me in anyway. He said no problem, pull your car around. No charge for air. The mechanic filled my air and talked to me about my tires. He told me
I needed to get to new ones because they were balding and could be dangerous. I took his advice seriously & returned 2 days later to buy the tires. When I returned I only waited 1 hr for installation & alignment. What a pleasant experience. The men were gentlemen. Polite. Courteous. Great work ethic. I walked out 2 times with a smile on my face, thanx guys! Your crew is awesome!

I went in for the alignment I get every other year and watched as they took my car out on to Dale Mabry twice (before and after alignment) for a total of 22 miles. When the guy left the parking lot of course I had to hear my turbo spool as he gunned it out.
Of course I cannot prove they did anything bad, but it was completely unnecessary to drive for that long and that hard when all I wanted was a simple alignment. I fell for their $ 50 alignment special and you definitely get what you pay for.
Please people, do yourself a favor and pay the extra money and go to a respectable place that want take your car out for a joy ride. My vehicle is what gets me to my job and school. I cannot have some irresponsible employee driving my car like he stole it.
