UNETHICALPRACTICES! On May 30th we went to upgrade my daughter’s phone from a iPhone 5C to the 6. It was in the upgrade phase. I am a very trusting person and asked if he could place any additional charges on our bill(which we have done in past upgrades as we have six lines). He said no problem. I would have been willing to pay right there if needed. He brought the tablet over with the box for me to sign which I did. Tonight I happen to be looking at my account for another reason and see that he had me sign for EDGE without my knowledge or consent. There is no way he would have thought I wanted EDGE. My son has EDGE so I am familiar with the contract. Instead of getting the phone upgrade, I was charged full retail price for the iPhone 6. I immediately called Verizon and they stated I had 14 days to return the phone and cancel EDGE. Yes, it is my fault that I signed the tablet where he told me to sign. But it is his fault for being a lying scumbag. Between the Verizon guy trying to get me to switch to their cable, to the other workers talking so friendly to me, he just was on a roll to scam us. I have had this contract since 2003 when we PCS’d to MacDill and I am sad to see that their employees have lowered themselves to unethical practices! I WAS a very loyal Verizon Wireless customer. I will be looking to switch our six lines to another carrier. A visit to speak to the manager and a letter to corporate will follow.

After not being helped at another Verizon store I came to this location and was extremely pleased. The staff was extremely helpful and seemed to work great together. I will continue to go to this store for any future needs even though it is further away for me. Thanks!

Walked in the store the other day with an idea of what I wanted. I had researched it enough to know that I wanted to set up a mobile hot spot that I could move from the home to other places, hotels, the rv, etc and still retain internet services thru a 4G network. I was after the Jetpack 291. The store seemed to be full of customers but there were enough of the store personnel to accommodate each one. The employee listened to my reason, suggested an alternative that actually made a lot of sense. It was a mobile wifi set up that had better range but was useful only in areas that you could plug it in. What sold me on the original device was that we talked about the advantage the other had: it had a pretty long battery life and you could take it in your car or on your person and still be connected. Bought that and the service plan and I was out of the store in about twenty minutes. They were very helpful. If I had another need to go back there, I would not hesitate. Thanks.

Lovett was friendly and knowledgable. He was a great sales person with not too much pressure. That sort of balance is hard to come by. And I am very picky about cell phone sales and service because I have a good friend up in Michigan that works for Verizon that I really trust. Pretty much anyone else puts my out of my comfort zone. First the store review then I will continue with my story. Service, as I stated above, was great. Lovett was courteous and professional and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, fully informed, and our needs were satisfied. The store was under renovation, so it cannot get the full 5 stars. Lovett did deserve 5 stars, so I feel slightly bad, but they have room to improve and everyone there clearly knows it with the big temporary wall running down the middle of the store. So my fiancée has been stealing my blue tooth jawbone hands-free for the past couple weeks because he microphone on her phone went out and it was the only way we could use her phone to talk to other people. We waited until the new iPhone prices came out and immediately rushed into Verizon to get new phones. We got new iPhones. For her, a pink iPhone 5c and for me, I upgraded my 4 to a 4s because I wanted to keep using my mophie battery case! Lovett found us a work discount because my fiancée works for the courts. Great experience, great staff, I will be comfortable coming back here in the future, so long as Lovett is still working.
