I had went in to get glasses about 2 weeks ago, I didn’t have time to sit and pick which glasses I wanted because I am usually very busy running my own company and managing a bar. Within that time I had lost the paper with my prescription on it, I had finally had a moment to go in and just get my prescription(just so I had it for my records) the receptionist informed me that the doctor wasn’t in and she could not give it to me, but she could FAX it to me… I told her I didn’t have a fax so if they could just email it to me that would be fine. She then told me «the doctors are old school and don’t have a email address»… I’m sorry but who doesn’t have a email address in the year 2015?!? How do you do business? And when did it become my problem that your doctors refuse to use technology to help their customers out. I was going to find the time and purchase about $ 300 worth of product, but now they have irritated me to the point that I rather just get a new eye exam at a different opticians office just because of their ignorance.

I had to come back three times to get my prescription right. That alone disqualifies this chain from further business. They always feature a bogo deal on frames that seem to cost about $ 70-$ 90. But by the time you’ve added all the necessary things, you end up paying well over $ 300, or more. The staff is hit or miss. Some seem to know what they’re doing, and some most definitely do not, especially the younger ones. The staff optometrist seems competent, if a bit lacking in the personality department. It took well over a month to get my two pairs of reading and computer glasses done correctly. I’m pretty sure you could do better elsewhere.

I am usually a nomad when it comes to my optometrists, but loyal to a fault when it comes to my other doctors. Finally, I have found a location I do like and have been patronizing this Visionworks location for almost five years. Drs. Bernatsky and Wilson, and their staff assist in making visits to the optometrist tolerable. There is low turnover amongst the staff and everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The location is very convenient and there is ample parking for everyone. On most days, if you call to schedule an appointment in the morning, they can normally fit you in as early as the same day. Visionworks takes most insurance plans. My eye exam was included in my vision insurance and the only thing I paid for was my contact lens exam. Visionworks carries an array of different contact brands or you can pick out a nice pair of glasses in the store. I highly recommend this location.

Stopped in for glasses for my 7 year old son and it was Jose that we ended up with. Unfortunately he seemed rushed and annoyed that we asked for pricing comparisons between the store promo and our insurance. Lousy customer treatment when your spending 300 – 400 hundred dollars

I really enjoyed my experience here. Recently I’ve developed a bad habit of sleeping in my contacts, so I decided to bite the bullet and get a new pair of glasses. The staff here was extremely helpful and honest. They were not just trying to make a sale, which I appreciated. Overall I was impressed with the deal that I got on my pair of glasses. For my frames, I only paid $ 99.99. They were Armani Exchange and originally $ 249.99. They are a classy, versatile pair that I can wear to work or in a fun, casual setting as well. I walked out of the door paying only $ 163.00 for a fashionably relevant pair of glasses that looks great on my face. I’d go here again for my eye-wear needs because the staff was friendly, professional, helpful and quick. I had my eyeglasses within an hour. B. Major Grade: A+

I moved across town and changed insurance companies, so I thought I’d find a place close to home to get my annual exam. I had previously gone to big box eye care places, so it was not a big leap for me to pick Vision Works. Bigger places usually have larger selections and more accommodating appointment availability. However, this is the first time in my life(that I am aware of) that I’ve been charged a contact lens fitting fee and I take issue with it for the simple fact that NOTHING about my vision changed. They literally handed me the exact same lens brand, diameter, base curve and strength, had me put it in my eye and then looked at it through the microscope. Well, it seems pretty silly to me that I would have to pay them $ 70 for them to tell me the lens I had in my eye when I walked in the place fit just fine.
