I came here after my son’s surgery. I tried 3 different cvs locations and could not find one that had his pain medication in stock. This was my last resort because they are not in contract with his insurance. When I pulled to the window I explained to the lady that my son had just had surgery and asked if they could fill his prescription right away because I didn’t want him to wake up and feel pain. (she saw my son was passed out in the back seat) when I passed her his prescription I must have handed her his insurance card too out of habit. She quickly handed me my prescription back and told to try me yo try cvs that they didn’t accept my insurance. I was highly aggravated and offended that she didn’t just ask me if I was willing to pay for his prescription. I had to give her the prescription back and tell her I would pay the 50 bucks out of pocket. At this point I was already irritated… once she put the order in I asked her how long that it would take and if she could fill it as quickly as possible. She told me it would take 30 to 40 minutes. I literally was pulling In my driveway ten mins later and received a text that it was ready. I Was HAPPY THAT It Was Filled quickly But Irritated THAT She Told Me A longer time. I could have waited in parking lot.

Not happy. I take a maintenance medication, and just realized why I’m having issues with last 2 refills, my Rx is for 60count, (2xa day, which I take) well last month and this month they have cheated me of ½ my RX! I’m being given 30!!! So why are you making me pay for medication when you are NOT filling my RX properly??! Then I’m hassled saying «oh your insurance company won’t allow you to fill yet, you aren’t due for another week» well IF YOU FILLED MY FULL RX INSTEAD OF ½!!! I will be reporting this to my insurance company that you are not giving me my full RX! What are you doing with the other half of my RX??!

I had to have several old negatives developed and tried this store because they were the only one I could find around here that would do this in an hour. Austin at the photo counter was great. He provided friendly, fast and fabulous service. Photos were ready in 15 minutes instead of an hour.

I have been so impressed by the pharmacists at this Walgreens. They’re so nice and efficient. Just note that the pharmacy closes early on Sundays.
The location of the store is convenient as you can access from both Gandy and/​or Mac Dill. There is always plenty of parking, too.

This is my favorite drug store. They are close, they carry practically anything you need and at good prices.
This particular store has a friendly staff and will give coupons to use if they have them for some items.
Make sure to get a rewards card — instant discounts.
The only thing is, I wish this store carried as much as some of the others, although it’s a smaller store, it obviously can’t carry everything the bigger stores have, but, they do a pretty good job of carrying most everything I need.
And I wish they were at least open until midnight…24 hrs would be even better, but at least til midnight!

Waiting at the drive thru for over 25 minutes. One girl took all my information and then 15 minutes another girl asked if I had been helped? If you are in any rush, don’t use this pharmacy, especially the drive thru. My total wait time was 28 minutes.

Convenient and friendly

I love this Walgreens! They always have great sales and a friendly staff. I love to go here for things when I do not feel like going to Publix or Sam’s. Cosmetics are always on special and they always have plenty of stock. Since I banl with Chase, I love that they have a Chase atm located inside. Wine selection is pretty decent when you need something on the fly.
