My appointment is for 8:45. It is 9:18 and I am still waiting. I asked the receptionist how much longer and she got an attitude with me saying I was early. Granted I did show up at 8:30 for a 8:45 appointment so I could fill out paperwork. But does that really mean I was so early I needed to wait an extra 30 minutes and still haven’t seen the doctor! What happened to doctors offices having some customer service?

Why 4 stars? Because the mission was accomplished, but not without confusion. — — — I’ve had acid reflux for as long as I can remember, so I needed to get my good olé’ esophagus checked out. Dr. Weintraub has done this a time or two before, and definitely has his speech ready for you. You may not get a word in edgewise, but you’re not there to have a conversation, you’re there to make sure your acid reflux isn’t due to something alarming. So I had my endoscopy done, and the news came back all clear. I just need to take a pill on most days if I want to avoid the reflux. No big deal, I’m gonna make it. The only annoying thing about this process was dealing with Dr. Weintraub’s office and my insurance company. I had my endoscopy done in October. It’s now June. This issue was just resolved. My first bill came shortly after the surgery, and it was for over $ 500 out of pocket. This was very incorrect, and I was told that there was a mixup and that the insurance company screwed up. So I called my insurance company, and they blamed the doctor’s office. And of course, neither party would talk to each other. It’s my favorite thing ever. So, this process went on for 9 months, until it was finally resolved when my insurance company called the doctor’s office. I don’t know whose fault this technically was, but it was incredibly annoying.
