Winn Dixie took over the Sweet Bay operations at this site. The changes were noticeable in a Winn Dixie way. Buy one get one free, and more 10 for $ 10 items going on. The Shell gas deal helps out. I usually get one to two tankfuls a months. One time I went, I had $ 1.20 off the Shell price. Its good for up to 20 gallons, so I would wait until you’re gas tank is almost empty. Back to the store. The aisles are clean. The choices are plenty. I like their produce area over on the right. Their pharmacy is over on the left with the dairy products right behind it. Their specials on chicken are great. The service at the counters have always been just right to accommodate the number of customers. I usually get through the store with about $ 70 in purchases and about $ 15-$ 20 in savings.

Ugh — it pains me that these are closing. I am thankful for the one that is near my house. 1. The produce is always fresh. 2. They have a great meat selection — for a really good price. 3. The liquour store attached always has a special, which I appreciate. The staff is always helpful and willing to go the extra mile whenever asked. I will continue to support this location as long as it stays open. B. Major Grade: A

Now I didn’t actually go full on grocery shopping, so I can’t compare the prices based on Winn Dixie, Publix or Walmart. But, it was very clean and had allot of variety. It’s the small things that are important to me, like variety in cheeses, spices, sauces, and what they have in their own brand. I always go to Walmart for the low cost & array of choices, but I think I may try sweetbay for my next full on grocery experience

Usually I prefer Publix over Sweetbay, but this Sweetbay is rather impressive. Good selection of beer. Unique layout. Staff is rather young, even the supervisor looked young. One thing Sweetbay has on Publix is hours. Publix usually closes at 9 and most of the time Sweetbay will be open to 11pm. When your busy, sometimes it is best to do your shopping at night. Publix always has better meat, whether lunch meat or from the butcher, Publix kicks butt. But Sweetbay can do pretty good when it comes to veggies. This Sweetbay was pretty well stocked with veggies, and none were gross. It was one of the easier times I had picking out veggies. None were gross. Usually I have to put a couple back because they are scary looking, but not this time. Overall, there was no crowd, some pretty good specials, and I really really liked the unique selection of beer they had here!
