I have been to many Winn Dixies in the Tampa area and I’ve got to say this one is the best. They have a friendly staff and the store is well organized and stocked at all times. My favorite part is when I get meat or cheese from their deli… they always give me a slice to try it even though we both know I know what it tastes like. It’s just them being nice… the little things. Winn Dixie is my go to grocery store. They always have a large selection of BOGO items and these items change week to week… ya know if you get bored with the old ones or something. Regardless, they always stay true to their advertising and if the receipt says otherwise, their customer service will always go above and beyond to take care of you. Their produce is usually on point… not really tough to find something of quality. That said, this place is not publix quality. Publix is much more family friendly and they always appear much cleaner. If this is what you are in to, that’s fine but it comes at a price… publix stuff is ALWAYS more expensive. That said, they also have their own beer and liquor section of the store with an extreme variety of each. So if you can’t find what you want to eat. At least at this location you will find something you want to drink.

My old Go-To. This Winn-D has the liquor store attached as well. Normally very well stocked and never overcrowded. It’s hit or miss for fresh produce, but the staff has always been very helpful if I could not find something I was looking for. The meat and seafood is marked down during the later hours and they normally have«closeouts» in the grocery aisles which are great deals. Prices are normally lower than Publix and parking is easy.

This location is one of the better ones that I have visited around Tampa. Compared to other Winn Dixie locations, this location is cleaner and better organized. The employees are nicer, though you do have to bag your own groceries on occasion. These facts aren’t deal breakers for me because I know I am at Winn Dixie and this is what I expect. Yes, it is easy to compare Winn Dixie to Publix because Publix is great. But I like to keep in mind what Winn Dixie offers and what it does not. I go to Winn Dixie for the BOGO deals and Fuel Perks, not to get stellar customer service or a walk to my car.

Not a fan of this Winn Dixie. The Customer service is lacking and they usually only have 1 – 2 registers open so be prepared to wait. A few times I’ve been here I found a lot of items that were expired like milk, cheese, yogurt, bread, kcups and even baby food. So if you’re shopping here make sure to check all expiration dates. TIP: Just go to Publix LOL!

The company I work for offers a point system for healthy lifestyle choices — like working out and healthy food purchases. I am a Publix shopper, but they work through Sweetbay and WinnDixie. I had shopped at a different location in the past but wanted to try this location to see if I could make the switch. My opinion of this chain is that they do not hold a candle to Publix. This has not changed. It’s extremely hard to compete with Publix service but seems like they are not even trying here. The store itself isn’t even welcoming… Produce is mostly packaged, bakery looks gross and the isles don’t seem to make sense. The whole entire place smells like fried food and when I was walking past the deli — someone was mopping with a dirty mop or water. Blech. Stars given for having what I needed on this quick trip at reasonable prices and the attached liquor store. Otherwise, needless to say I won’t be switching stores for the workperk program.
