This place is the best fast food. They food is always fresh made to order. The employees are friendly and always makebyou feel welcome. If you dine-in they will actually bring your food out to you on plates. The fried food dont never tast like it was fried in old or seafood grease unlike some fast food restaurants. They alao have a menu selction for low carb people. The chop chop salad is the best if you like pico de gallo you will like chop chop its just more of an cucumber base. You can also get your shrimp and chicken with buffalo sauce or on the side. In inside there is a board where the have daily specials. They are even ope until 4am dine in close @3am. They also have hand made shakes along with other deserts. There is and employee mame Stephanie she is friendly along with and tall male the has like goat-T beard. I feel like cheer’s when I go in everyone knows your name… Lol. Never had any issues if there w was an issue with my food. Also there is a TV inside which you can ask to have the station changed.

I’ve been frequenting Zeko’s Grill at their Busch Blvd. location for the past several years. The customer service provided by Kareem G is exemplary! Kareem is charismatic and he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that the expectations of his customers are met. The food at Zeko’s is always served hot and prepared to complete satisfaction. The price for lunch or dinner is also very reasonable and is always plentiful. Zeko’s is the hidden gem of Busch Blvd. If you’ve never been, then you’re missing-out on a quality dining experience. Try it and see for yourself, and be sure to ask for Kareem as well.

This restaurant never ceases to amaze me. Everything I have gotten here has been fresh and made to order. The hummus is out of this world. The chicken Greek salad is from another planet. The gyros are delish! The beef kabobs are cooked to perfection. The shish kabob has flavors of the Mediterranean. Just everything is damn good ok! Except… unfortunately the hot wings. The locals who live around that area buy them because this is like the only place where you get get fresh food at 2−4am in the morning. But they are lackluster to say the least. But go for all of the Mediterranean dishes and you are sure to have a great experience. If you dine in, they even bring your plate to you. That was a surprise being that it does appear to be a fast food like restaurant.

Hummus was good, but served nothing like the picture. When I asked, the waitress said,“it’s just for the picture.” Had shish kabob that tasted like a hamburger on a stick dipped in propane and set ablaze. Jasmine rice covered up with chop chop, not on the side as pictured on their menu. Dinmer for 2, $ 35, wasted. I’ll stick with Louis Pappas.

Food was amazing. We had the hummus and couldn’t get enough of it. The chicken kabob is excellent, seasoned to perfection. The plates are very big, we couldn’t finish any of our food. Had to take 3 to go boxes. Staff was friendly. We will definitely come back.

Conveniently located across from Busch Gardens, this fast food Mediterranean restaurant serves some yummy falafel Sammie’s! Made fresh so you can customize. Comes with hummus if you like and Mediterranean style pickles. Also got a Greek salad that I saved for later consumption. Kareem is a jokester and kept me laughing while taking order. They serve up all kinds of chicken and shawarma type dishes as well.

I didn’t really gather this was a fast food joint because I was drunk and hungry, it was late and the place was near my hotel. The only reason I’m giving it a 3 instead of a 2 is because by fast food standards it’s exceptional. By all other standards it is pretty bad. The steak cut fries were unsalted and very blah. The fried shrimp was just okay, but actually left me feeling a little sick. The fried mushrooms were decent but not spectacular. My favorite part of my meal was the green sauce but they didn’t give me enough sauces in general. I should have got the chop chop salad. It seems more legit then what I had. I don’t think I’d give it another go because it did make me sick, but I never eat fast food, so it might be because of that. The next time I’m drunk and in the area I’d rather get a pizza — that being said, I think if you eat meat and fast food this place might be pretty awesome.

To start with, easy access, easy parking, clean and bright. Very friendly staff. Arrived on a Wednesday just after noon. Shortly after the ordering line was long. Looked like a few regulars including a deaf or mute man right behind us. Very obvious he and the owner/manager have become friends as he gestured for his order. I ordered the zee-food platter. Definitely not same day wild caught specimen(pretty sure all are farmed raised products from thousands of miles away). But you should know that already. Their preparation keep the freshest taste possible. Did I mention that this was a huge load of food? No one single person should clean off the entire plate. Felafel was scrumptious. The«small order» of six came with flat bread and fixings. Can easily make a meal out of it. Wife got the gyro. Again, one person probably shouldn’t finish it in one sitting. Went back 2 days later. This time I knew not to over-order. Me, wife, and 8 year old shared salad with grilled chicken, beef kebab platter, and child wanted the plain flatbread(81 cents, hot and fresh!) which she gobbled up almost the whole thing as-is. «Small» order of salad was huge. I saw someone with a large order, and the bowl was the size of a wok. I laughed at her. Definitely enough of well-seasoned breast to fill up. Beef kebab was wonderful. Lots of big chunks of meat with plenty of seasoned white rice and chop-chop, their mix of diced cucumber, tomato, onion, and parsley. Go eat at Zeko’s. You will not be disappointed. Just remember that your eyes will be bigger than your stomach.

This place was formerly a Wendy’s(asked the manager since I’m nosy) and now is the drive-thru hotspot for fried and grilled seafood and gyros. Standard fast-food style place where you order at the counter but difference is that they bring out the food to you. Ordered the Zea-food Combo($ 14.99, grilled basa– catfish family) which included a choice of basa or tilapia, shrimp and calamari. It came out over a large bed of rice(looked around 3 cups worth) and black beans. Fish was delicious and fell apart at the touch of the fork, shrimp was small, grilled and perfectly seasoned. Didn’t touch the rice since I was all about the protein this dinner post-workout. BF ordered the Steak Hoagie($ 8.99) which came with a big side of seasoned fries and he absolutely loved it. What makes or breaks a hoagie for him is the bread and he said the bread was moist(I hate that word) and soft. Great place and I can see why people’s reviews say they come back again.

Overall, I can’t complain about the place. The food hummus was good as well as the boneless chicken wings. I can’t give it an AMAZING review but I was satisfied. Be aware, the boneless wings AREBIG — I accidentally ordered 10 of them and felt like a glutton. Clean store, the drink options were lacking.

I love this place because, it’s all about local folks and local families, from all backgrounds, coming here to get their feast on. Want wings? Want a lot of wings? This is the place! Want falafel? Want a lot of crunchy, fresh, flavorful falafel? This is the place! Want a tasty salad? Want a huge salad? This is the place! See a pattern? Everything, and I mean everything is good. The hummus is smooth and creamy and wonderful. The shish kabob? Yup, it’s awesome too! OK. I’ve stated my case. The rest is up to you.

A great find here in Tampa and located so close to Bushe Gardens. We came here after a full day in the amusement park at around 7pm. Plenty of seating at the time and we ordered our food right away. The interior look more like a fast food restaurant with pretty nice cushion seatings but they do bring out the orders to you once its ready. The food was levels above what you might find in a typical fastfood restaurant. Especially the rice and beans plate I felt was cooked so well that I wanted more. Even though I thought the Fried Fish was a little dry but everything else we’ve tried were really good. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try their classic Gyro as that definitely seem to be one of the favorites. Even the baklava that was just sitting out in the fridge was really delicious I certainly think that was freshly made on the same day. The prices were reasonable and the portions generous. The food came out practically within minutes which was much appreciated since we were ravenous after a long day and dying for some sit down food. Overall a great place that I would recommend to anyone visiting Bushe Gardens if you want to give Greek food a try. Its definitely well worth a visit and the interiors are modern with really delicious food

Zeko’s is a decent Mediterranean fast food restaurant. I got a chicken gyro with fries and a drink and it came out to about $ 10(although I saw a sign later saying that the gyro and fries combo was $ 6, maybe just the lamb?). Got my order in about 10 minutes. Fries were good, gyro was OK. The chicken was a little over cooked and there was too much tzattiki sauce. Sweet tea was very sweet. But all in all, it was a decent meal which filled me up. Service was friendly and the place was clean so I lean more towards 4 stars than 3. Not a bad dining option for this neck of the woods and if you’re heading to Busch Gardens(across the street), it may provide a better value for you without the lines.

All the positive reviews about this place are spot on. This isnt a fancy restaurant, it is more like a fast food restaurant on steroids. The employees are welcoming and the guy behind the counter is absolutely entertaining. Despite being across from Busch Gardens, it isn’t in the greatest neighborhood. I say this only because this lends itself to a steady stream of interesting characters stopping in to eat and to pick up take out. The menu has a lot of food choices and we chose to share the gyro, a greek salad, and chicken schwarma. Everything we ordered was nothing short of spectacular. The prices are also very reasonable. I will defintely be back for the food and the service. If you haven’t been to this place, do yourself a favor and give it a try.

So, in what appeared to be an old Taco Bell, some genius decided to make a Greek restaurant. I found, and judged this restaurant purely on the basis of Unilocal reviews and it’s close proximity to the local theme park. The reviews couldn’t have been more spot on. The guy behind the counter was hilarious, helpful and friendly. The gyro that I had was awesome! The fries were crispy and delicious. The baklava was also pretty good. I bought Elizabeth and myself lunch here for about twenty bucks! I must say that I’ve never been more full. This was probably bad considering we were on our way to Busch Gardens to ride rollercoasters! Overall, this was really a great experience. I’ll definitely be back some day.

Man do I wish that Zeko’s was located in South Florida! This is one of the best/cheapest Mediterranean restaurants I have ever been to. Sam and I were up in Tampa to use our Busch Gardens annual passes when we decided to get lunch outside of the park. We were craving Greek food, so after a quick Unilocal search we found Zeko’s. It just so happened to be directly across the street from the park. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the staff– super outgoing and friendly! They asked us if we had visited before and if we were familiar with Mediterranean cuisine. I told him that we hadn’t and that we were. I was immediately drawn to the Schwarma special– $ 6.99 for a beef schwarma and fries, but I was also craving a Gyro($ 8.99 with fries). I asked the cashier which he liked better and he suggested to schwarma because it had more spices and flavor and it was less food than the gyro(he had asked me how hungry I was and I told him that I wasn’t that hungry). I had had a gyro like 3 days before, so I went ahead and selected the schwarma. Sam ordered the gyro, an aloe juice and baklava. As soon as our food came out I knew it would be amazing. I could smell the aromas which alerted me that I was in for a treat. The schwarma was great and I especially liked the fries. Sam let me try his gyro too. Loved it. The baklava was great– I had never had baklava made with pistachios before. I reeeeealllly liked everything I had. It was all so filling too! We ate so much food at Zeko’s that we had no room for dinner later that night. I still can’t get over the price! Less than $ 20 for all of that food!!! Such a deal! We will definitely be back soon!

Wow, I’m glad we found this place on Unilocal! We came for lunch and I’m hoping to return for another visit before leaving Tampa. This fast casual restaurant looks like an average restaurant from the outside, but it serves up some excellent food inside. I ordered the chicken kabobs with black beans and rice and shared an order of wings with my group. The food came out freshly prepared and steaming hot. We tried the honey BBQ and mild buffalo wings and both were good. Deep fried to a perfect crisp and coated in sauce, the mild buffalo was my favorite. Next came the chicken kabob plate. The chicken was juicy and tender and the beans and rice were perfect. The portions were large, so we had plenty of food to take home. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. They had no problem splitting the wing flavors and they even brought some of the spicy buffalo sauce for us to try. My only disappointment was that they only have two locations. I’d love to see them open in my home town of Saint Louis! 5 stars for Zeko’s!

I love falafel, and there are only a few places around town that make a decent one. Many places think they have a good one-but don’t. Zeko’s is one of the few places that delivers an excellent falafel. They don’t serve it falling out of a sliced open pita though, they wrap it up into a thin one, with chopped salad, Mediterranean pickles, and(for $.75 extra) hummus, and it is perfect! I loved all the side dishes I ordered here, too — chopped salad was fresh and delicious, and they have my favorite fries in the world — steak fries. Every time we saw food go by, I kept saying — I’m getting that next time. The shrimp were huge and the wings looked meaty and saucy. I felt that everything in there was very reasonably priced. Order taker was very friendly and super helpful, and the restaurant, although typically fast-foodish, was bright and clean with plenty of parking. I cannot wait to return!
