This is an extraordinary place. Very well coordinated, safe, and professionally supervised. Many challenges on different levels of apparatus for people of all ages. Not for the fearful of heights! Grounds are well laid out to allow non participants to observe safely and follow skywalkers from a ground path.

drove over an hour to get there. Read that kids could go with adults on website. I have two boys the same size. I wanted to go with them. My husband is unable to wear the harness. I was told that I needed an adult for each kids. Which was not on the website! Then I said well they will do the kids course. They said they were two big. So that’s just great. Supposed to be fun for the whole family my ass. Too small for adult course and too big for kids course!!! Seriously I think they just want to price gouge and get as many adult course tickets as possible and at $ 49 per person that is ripe! Especially for the experience you get Kids were very excited to go and now are so disappointed. Thanks monkey trunks for ruining a vacation day for us.

This place was incredible. The staff, specifically Renee, was knowledgable and very helpful! The course it’s self was well designed and really made you feel safe. We went here for my younger brothers bachelor party of 8 grown men, including my 59 year old father. It was challenging and exciting. Seems great for any age that is looking for an adventure.

I like to give credit where it’s due and that was a really fun place. A little confusing and not a lot of people to help you along the way. I’m 5 feet and it was hard reaching a lot of things.(I’m 27 and I can reach above what it says in the guidelines lol) I could see kids having a hard time but they wanted to do the adult course with their parents but I would recommend they try the kids course first. I’ve been to a ropes course before and it was easier with the people throughout to guide and help you more so I would say they should add more. Probably would go back. The harness did give me bruises so be careful of that too.

This place is amazing. You have to run through a 10 min class where a worker runs you through what you have to do. It’s painless and necessary. There are several workers throughout the course so if you get nervous or stuck they can offer suggestions or assist you. Other than that you are left alone without people nagging you. Awesome job guys.

This review is only for their customer service. My family owns multiple rental cabin properties on Squam Lake and while I was up visiting I thought it would be fun to bring several of the kids to Monkey Trunks for the night. Having only my cell & landline phone available to me, I visited their website to try and get more info and saw that reservations were heavily recommended. So, I tried to complete the online registration form but with only my cell and a non-mobile friendly form to complete I kept getting bumped out(could have been their site, my phone or my connection) — so I called them and waited several hours and then called back later that same day as the kids wanted to go that night. After not receiving a call back we figured we would simply go on our next available night so I sent off a facebook message inquiring about making a reservation and the fact that no one had returned my calls. I was directed back to the website. I told them that I was having trouble filling out the form and they asked where I wanted to make a reservation — after that, I never heard from them again. It wasn’t worth the drive or the risk of having disappointed kids to attempt going without a reservation so we chose to spend our $ elsewhere. Unfortunately, my family will not be recommending Monkey Trunks to any of the families that come to stay based upon the poor customer service.

Minus 1 star for the price. $ 49 per person damn!!! You are equipped with a harness and helmet then brought out to your 1st course. It’s an easy one that gives you a feel for the equipment. Each level gets harder and higher. At times you are 55 feet in the air. There is also a zip line at the end of each level. The course will take a good 2hrs and maybe more to complete and you’ll probably be sore the next day.

We are located across the street. I have to say the place is a riot. The laughter and coaching, we hear, is inspirational. The employees are always ready to help. There are days there is no parking, bus loads of adults and kids, which are excited and apprehensive at the same time, but when you see them leaving they have the biggest grins on their face and are probably looking for the closest hot tub(grin). This is one of the few low impact environment friendly businesses I know of in the area.

this is a little pricey but sooo worth it! its an adult sized jungle gym/obstacle course complete with a huge rope swing & zip line =) When I went it was just my friend & I so we had the whole course to ourselves and we were there for hours! the staff was very helpful & even took pictures of us the whole time we were doing it. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. not only is it a blast but it’s a great workout too!
