Outstanding example of an animal shelter that truly cares about the pets. SafeHaven is a «no-​kill» shelter, serving primarily dogs and cats, but also has other small animals, i.e. Rabbits and Guinea Pigs from time-​to-​time.
Also offers classroom instruction and has various programs for kids, such as day camps during vacation periods.
Active volunteer staff.
