Desert Oak

Four friends and i just returned from Taos, NM for our (28^th) annual ski trip. We have skied & stayed at many places over the years, and there is nothing like Taos. One of the things that made the trip memorable was staying at Taos Desert Oak. This is an authentic Adobe home was in ruins before it was restored and saved from demolition. It is downtown and walking distance to some great shops and restaurants. It is on a quiet street and blends in perfectly with the New Mexico landscape. On our arrival we opened the refrigerator to find beer, local salsa and chips waiting for us. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing. The whole thing was very comfortable and memorable. We will return for sure.
